Charming Farmhouse Nestled in Oak Forest 20 mins from Ocala

This was our second stay at Grazing Oaks and we would not stay anywhere else when we visit Williston. It’s that amazing!!! Super clean, super beautiful, super hosts! Only problem is now all our friends want to stay there too! We better book our next stay fast!

My family and I stayed here and although there were a few hiccups before we got there, the hosts were always available (even in Europe) and were so attentive. It was close to the springs and the property was super peaceful. Everything was clean but I will say if you are sensitive to smells like I am, there are those febreeze automatic room misters in pretty much every groom.

One of the most amazing places I have ever rented. We will definitely be back later. The pictures doesn't do this place justice. GO NAVY !!

Overall, we had a good stay here. One major thing to point out for future visitors is that when I booked this property and still today, as I write this review, there is a picture of what looks like a barn that doesn’t have any walls. That is now enclosed and a separate vacation rental. I point this out because on Day 2 of our stay, another group showed up. There were some upset people when we all discovered that the private family getaways that we had planned were actually forcing us to coexist with each other. The outdoor space is shared. It doesn’t say in this description that it is or isn’t a shared space so we had no idea that we’d end up sharing a fire pit area together. That family found the shared space info out in their check in day instructions. I found that info out when I asked the owner after that family showed up. This property would be better for a large group who would want to rent both properties but it’s not the best for two families who are wanting to get away from people. I did mention to the owner that curtains or blinds on the back windows of the house would be a great addition because when the other family was at the fire pit, they could see directly into our space. Luckily, we were two families both wanting peace so it made it easier to exist together than if we’d been there and had a rowdy crowd staying at the property right next to us. A bit more description transparency would have prevented a lot of hassle for everyone involved.
