This is an exceptional place to stay right in the very centre of Subotica. The apartment is tucked away in the courtyard of a beautiful old house, so despite the central location it feels wonderfully private and peaceful. The 5-metre-high ceilings and incredibly thick walls give the place so much character — and they really make a difference. We stayed during a very hot August and didn’t need the air conditioning at all; the apartment remained naturally cool. The master bathroom is spacious, comfortable and very stylish, and I especially loved the bedroom with the walk-in closet cleverly hidden behind the bed. There are also lots of small design details that make the apartment memorable. My favourite was the beautiful Tiffany pendant light at the entrance — it was genuinely a little pleasure every time I turned it on. :) A unique, stylish and extremely comfortable place with real character. I would happily stay here again.
