Peaceful cozy place with pool and playground - ideally for family with kids

It has everything we were looking for - cozy clean room, beautiful shaded pool, big playground for kids, good service and excellent food! We spent 5 peaceful nights and rest very well.

It’s a little far from center and lake. If you have little kids you need car to go.

It was fine

Very nice and well-kept place in nature. Big yard, with relaxing fountains and with a lot of places to chill. There is also a lot of place for kids to play. Rooms were very clean.

Check-in was 1 hour late. Food is not the reason for coming to this place - for breakfast (included in price) you didn't have the option to choose & lunch does not justify the very high price.

Bad

Jelen Salas ovners are scammers. They offer the rooms as part of the Salas, after you make the reservation over Booking site, they inform you that they don’t have anymore rooms in Salas, so they made reservation in other property for you. I asked for photos, and I never get them. Of course they charged my card so when we went there, we saw that the other property is poor and three times cheaper then the price they charged us. I spoke to the manager of Jelen Salas to find some solution, he was playing games with me, as he is just poor employe. The place is very nice and pleasant for stay, but they are scammers, they rent the rooms they don’t have and they charge you three times higger price!

Would definitely come back when it’s warmer, maybe spring or summer to enjoy the the place fully!

A very unique and nice place. The place was very clean, like new. Beds are very comfortable and there was a lot of privacy, you really felt like at home, like there were no other rooms around. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. We had breakfast included in the price as well and the food was great! You also had coffee and juice included as well. The place is about half an hour from the Zvonko Bogdan winery (on foot). All in all, would definitely recommend!

The entire salas and restaurant settings are really nice. The food in the restaurant is excellent. The tamburashi orchestra is great, worth staying over a weekend.

The rooms are a bit small, still cozy and nicely arranged. But the shower cabins are in bad shape, need to be replaced with new ones.

Jelen Salaš itself is pretty, the garden is well kept.

Its impossible to take a shower while breathing through your nose because their water smells like sulphur. We had tap water at other locations near this one and it was fine, so we're not sure whats going on here. Our friends got the worse room of the two - kitchy decor and noisy bathroom aspirator; our room was ok - but def not worth the price. They use AC to warm their rooms, so if you have issues with that maybe avoid staying here. Also, the waiters had a few rude comments.
