Convenient location: Although the walk down to town is fairly steep it is quick and a taxi back up to the property is cheap at about $3. Nice view of the city from the terrace.

The owners could provide a couple of more basic items: e.g., bottled water, extra toilet paper. Also, it would be helpful to include a short welcome note pointing out things like nearby shopping (e.g., the nearby Oxxo), recommended restaurants, etc. Also, hot water for showers was in short supply. While we don’t like to waste water in water-short Mexico, showers have to be quick before the water starts running cold.

Beautiful condo, very comfortable. Although it was a bit difficult to get there, Alejandra, the owner was available always and sent detailed instructions prior to our arrival. We had a couple of family incidents and she was very prompt to get a hold of us and also gave us advice on a good veterinarian to have an emergency check on one of our doggies, who were traveling with us. Although there is a reserved parking stall pretty much on the street, the area was somewhat safe and there were no incidents with our vehicle parking there overnight.

The condo is not RIGHT on a vehicle-access street. We had to park and walk some stairs down the alley. We understand this is common all through Guanajuato, but maybe not the best location for seniors with limited mobility. Although the kitchen has utensils and dineware, they are quite limited. There is only one glass for water that gad fingerprints all over. It kind of grossed us and made us question the cleaning standards, so we washed dishes prior to using them. There were no shallow pans to prepare scrambled eggs, so we used pots, which made it a little awkward. There was no running hot water in the shower. My husband found out that the boiler was off and had to figure out instructions with Google to get it going. It would have been useful having them in English for visitors. My mom found some small and long hair in her bed, which did not belong to her. Other than that, we had a great time, the place was beautiful, and Alejandra was helpful. We would go back
