Hostel Fehmarn Ferienwohnung

De locatie bevond zich in een mooie haven. Het appartement was ruim en proper.

Het appartement is gelegen boven een cafe waar er tot snachts lawaai is waardoor je niet voor 3u in slaap kan komen.

Insgesamt ein sehr sauberes und schönes Ambiente.

Es liegt über der Haifischbar und die Musik und Gespräche sind bis in den späten Abend zu hören.

Eine sehr ruhige Gegend. Sehr nettes Personal, ausreichend Platz und ganz besonders anzumerken: wir durften unseren Hund mitnehmen

Es sind nur ganz kleine Anmerkungen wie der Duschkopf, der leider immer abgefallen ist.

The room is very spacious with enough space for 4 to eat, cook and sleep. There is a big window to ventilate. Even though not central, Fehmarn is quite small and everything on the island can easily be reached from here.

The hostel belongs to a bar, and our room was right above it, so there was quite some noise late into the night. The rooms warm up a lot during the day, so the full day we stayed we kept the window open, even in the night (worsening the noise problem) - but it was closed the evening we arrived, so the first night was hot. The room had a bunch of exposed wired (floor height, so reachable by small children) and pushed through screws (pointy tips one can seriously hurt themselves). In general there was a lot that could have been easily fixed/maintained, but wasn't done. Overall cleanliness was also bad, when we left and checked under the bed, we even found a toy that was not ours, so the last cleaning sweap did not go under the bed at all. The communication with the owner is very friendly, quick and easy to reach, since she runs the bar underneath - but she was also always very busy, so we had to wait a lot at checkin and other matters. Also, the beds are almost all having a foot end and are really short (2m), so I (1,90m) had a hard time sleeping. Switched with my daughter the second night, since the lower bunk bed has no foot end and I slept much better.
