About this house rental

Quiet Bunkhouse just outside of town! Great for the weeklong deer hunt with buddies or a weekend baseball/softball tournaments. A large yard to shoot your bow or play corn hole! Only a 5 minute drive to town its a quiet country setting with everything you need.

Comfortably sleeps a family of 4, or could sleep 3 adults. Anything over 3 adults must be cleared with the owner.

Quiet road to take a nice walk also. We also have a friendly labrador on the property that is free to walk around.

Bunkhouse sits on land of owners home. House is located on property but still plenty of room for privacy. We will be available for any assistance needed.

We stayed for my daughter’s wedding at a venue a mile away and it was perfect! My husband had a place to go shower after setting up. And we had a short drive after tearing down. Nice space, great mattress and a very friendly dog!

The host was very easy to communicate with, friendly, and accommodating! His bunkhouse was perfect for me and my husband, but also has plenty of more beds for extra guests. Also bonus points for my husband because he loved the outdoorsman touch to it. His dog was very friendly and had great manners. We will definitely be staying again next year when we come to the area!

This is the best place to stay. We had everything that we needed. My kids loved the place and the nice friendly dog Lady. This is our second time staying here. My kids look forward to it every year. The owners are very nice.

Troy and his family were delightful. We had all the privacy we wanted and all the hospitality we could want. My daughter and I stayed at their guest house for the recent total eclipse which was to occur after the checkout time. Troy not only said we could stay but also invited us to a cookout with he and his family during the eclipse. It was a perfect place and perfect company to watch the eclipse. Thank you all so much for making us feel so welcome and sharing your family time with us for that momentous occasion. (BTW, it is also a great guesthouse and premier location for hunting: deer, turkey, …?) ☺️

My son and his family recently relocated to Robinson IL. When I come in town to visit, I’ve tried staying at the local hotels however they are extremely run down and not suitable for having my granddaughter stay. I found the lodge on VRBO and it was perfect! Just a few miles from the kids’ home, equipped kitchen, and plenty of sleeping areas. It was nice and peaceful, and my granddaughter especially liked the chocolate lab who lived on the property. Thank you for a nice, peaceful stay!

We stayed one night- we were in town for a wedding. I wish We could’ve spent more time there. The photos honestly don’t do this place justice. It’s SO cute + cozy. My daughter loved the bunk beds. We loved being greeted their dog! The check in process was easy, directions were simple to follow. Would stay again. Thank you for accommodating!

Clean and peaceful bunkhouse conveniently located near Robinson, but in a country setting. The listing is as advertised with comfortable fixtures and good wifi. The host was more than accommodating in making sure we had everything we needed and went as far to escort me to a business several miles from the property to ensure I found it. I plan on staying here again! Thanks again Troy for the hospitality!
