Very cozy and unique apartments. The atmosphere is very calm and helps to relax. The hosts are very welcoming and nice. Beautiful and clean rooms. Wonderful breakfast. And nice area in the main room to drink some wine and have family time and games.

O’Toole’s was a wonderful place to spend a relaxing evening after a day at Plitviče Lakes National Park. The property is in a stunning location down a rural road by a river. It is incredibly peaceful, but also only a two minute drive from plenty of local shops and restaurants. The property is wonderfully styled and furnished by its owners Bojan & Kelly celebrating both of their heritages. The rooms are large, clean and the bed was super comfortable! To make the stay even more amazing we opted to spend a little more to use the wood-fired hot tub which was very relaxing, and has a lovely position allowing you to see the sunset on a clear day! Bojan was an amazing host, spending time with us for a few drinks and a chat to make it a very personable experience. The breakfast he provided was wonderful with lots of homemade produce on offer. An amazing place to stay!

Stayed in this wonderful guesthouse for 3 nights (family of four in 2 rooms, both with balconies). Where to begin......everything about our stay was perfect. Bojan and Kelly were the perfect hosts, so welcoming and friendly, and gave helpful tips about things to do and places to eat in the surrounding area. The setting is lovely, nestled by a river with trees and green fields around it. The rooms were large, so clean and with beautiful views of the countryside from the balconies. Breakfast was between 8-10am and was a lovely mix of continental and cooked foods. In the evening after a long day of walking, a drink from the bar while sitting in front of the fire was just perfect. A highlight was the outdoor wood-fired hot tub on our last evening - blissful. O'Tooles is something very special - we felt at home here from the minute we arrived. On our last evening, we really appreciated that Bojan and Kelly, and their delightful children, set up the TV for us to watch a football match (which Ireland won!!! 🇮🇪). We would highly recommend O'Tooles to anyone looking for a great base while visiting the Plitvice Lakes, which are less than 20 minutes away.
