Fantastic property would use again and recommend.

The code to get the key was wrong, however I rung up and got the correct code within a few mins, no bother. Very clean property, well looked after up to date facilities. Great location as short walk from beach, shops, restaurants and pubs. Will stay here again if I am in Newcastle area again. Parking spot outside the property too which was a bonus!

The mattress on the right hand side of the king , was gone. It wasn’t an issue as we changed it for the one in the front room. But it does need replacing .

Grt stay and it suited us well

This little flat is a gem, bang in Whitely bay so the location is good. It's decorated beautifully and you will sleep well if you are in the main bedroom.

The second bedroom only has room for two small beds, the curtains in that room do not block out the sun and in the summer up here it gets light at 3.30 in the morning!

Perfect well equipped clean flat in a great location of Whitley bay

I loved the layout and facilities in the apartment. Everything needed was there and Judy the host had thought of everything. The property was a real home from home and her eye for detail and thought into what is needed is visible. It has been decorated and furnished to a really high standard. Some properties I’ve stayed in have chucked the cheapest things in and quickly decorated but this is not that place and the award that’s displayed on the stairs shows why. The location is perfect and I’m so glad the usual property I stay in was unavailable as this property gave the perfect holiday. I will book to return next year and will count down till I get to return.

Cosy & comfy, with some lovely touches to make it feel homely. Judy provided us with some supplies, and everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Location amazing for centre of Whitley Bay, and beaches a short stroll away.

Just the comfortable, relaxing holiday we both needed.

The best self catering flat we have ever stayed in. Judy the host went over & above to ensure the comfort & enjoyment of your holiday. She had thought of everything, a real home from home, & nice added extras, I.e.welcome food to get you started, a chilled bottle of cava…lovely touches. Whitley bay is a lovely location, with its long promenade & lovely beaches. The flat was a short walk from all this, as well as shops, bars & restaurants.We didn’t have a car, but you could go anywhere with the many bus services & the metro minutes away.

Really great location, parking outside and well-equipped.

Perfect location for town and sea front as well as metro into Newcastle and beyond. I'm from the area so chose it to be close to family I was visiting.

The children's hairdresser downstairs was quite noisy but we were out most of the day so it wasn't too much of an issue

Excellent value

Location is first rate - near town centre , Metro station and bus stops. The car parking space was just outside door and well lit at night. This owner has thought of every need - shower immaculate and powerful, living room very inviting and master bedroom well planned. I can work streaming TV but I understand not everyone can so Judy has left a simple guide. The booklet provided contains helpful information and is clearly laid out. Have stayed in many holiday lets and this is up there with the best of them.

People who are not too fit, whether through illness or age, might find stairs up to flat a little daunting.

Loved it

Absolutely loved it. Perfect location. Everything just around the corner, shops, pubs, restaurants end more all in walking distance. Judy was lovely when we called her and helped us out. Will definitely be staying here again.

Absolutely fabulous property!

The communication with Judy, the owner, was excellent. She provided comprehensive directions to the parking bay / front door (which is to the rear of the building) and these were tip top! The flat itself was conveniently located; spotlessly clean and well maintained. Judy went over and above with little things which made our stay special - so thank you for that. A great property to use when exploring this lovely area. Highly recommend!

The second bedroom was a little small but perfectly adequate - perhaps more suited to kids staying in it.

Great apartment in centre of Whitley Bay

Beautifully decorated, spacious and well thought out apartment. Lovely little touches, such as the host leaving bread, milk, coffee, tea etc for me when I arrived. Massive comfortable bed, and large soft towels. 5 mins from the front and 2 mins from the metro station. Lots of great little bars and restaurants right on the door step.

A beautiful apartment in the centre of Whitley Bay.

A beautiful, clean property in the centre of Whitley Bay. The apartment had everything you could need and more. Very comfortable beds and furniture in the lounge area. A very nice welcome pack including wine, biscuits, bread, milk, jam and butter was waiting for us on arrival. There is a very handy parking space directly outside the apartment. The communication from Judy was excellent regarding check in and check out.

A wonderful few days at Marden Mews

Very central for bars and restaurants, but not too far from the seafront. In an ideal location.The rooms were well appointed with furniture and decor in generally great condition. A lovely bottle of Prosecco awaited us , and even more surprising , a loaf 4 squares of butter,2 jam, 2 marmalade and some cereal in small boxes along with fresh milk in the fridge was a great surprise and saved any need for shopping on arrival. There is plenty of kitchenware and we didn't want for anything , all of it in pristine condition . The back bedroom is away from traffic noise, and we never heard anything whilst in it.It is generally a quiet area.

I would have preferred an ordinary TV set rather than a smart TV, but that is very personal as everyone has their own tastes in TV . There is some traffic noise at the front ,i.e. the lving room and front bedroom, but it isn't loud enough to be a problem., and with TV, Laptop , etc. switched on and at normal volume you don't notice the outside noise at all.

Convenient appartment close to beach and city

The location is near beach and near city, plenty of shops and eateries around. The appartment is on the first floor (a hairdresser downstairs that seems to be there only daytime). Although the front room is on a busy street, the master room is all silent. Convenient bathroom, beds and living, perfect for our family of 4. Judy was a kind host that let us stay a bit longer and left us a nice newyears champagne!

Lovely, little 2-bed gem in the heart of Whitley Bay. Good value for £. Near beach and amenities.

Overall, we were very impressed with this flat. It was centrally located and allowed us to walk to nearby shopping, food and dining. There was parking available which can be challenging (£) in this area. The flat was spacious for 2 of us, a very large reception room (beautiful leather sofas) and bedroom (w/king size bed). The 2nd bedroom has a single + set of bunk beds, so can accommodate a family very well. The kitchen is well-equipped, allowing us the opportunity to cook meals ourselves. Lovely walk-in shower - with great water pressure. The internet coverage was great and we never had any issues and there's a TV in the reception room and one in the main bedroom. The host was very helpful in ensuring everything was sorted for our arrival and stay. We intend to stay here again.

The only thing that was new to us was accessing programming on the TV. The tv is managed via the internet rather than a Freeview (traditional cable) option. We are not big tv people so it wasn't a real issue. If you enjoy watching tv (other than BBC) make sure you have your account details for accessing different streaming apps (ITV, etc). This would not put us off staying here in the future.

Large and comfortable modern apartment

We were very impressed by this apartment, it was modern, clean and very comfortable. The host had thoughtfully provided welcome extras for the first night and breakfast. The property was very well placed in the centre of town but in a quiet area. Our canine companion was also made welcome, thank you for a great stay

Such a homely stay with lots of thoughtful touches left by Judy the owner. Easy walking distance to the beach, st Mary's island, cullercoats etc We had a lovely time with a mix of restaurants and eating in as everything you need jn the kitchen Excellent to have free parking on site and Judy was available by mobile if needed

Der Hauseingang ist über den Hinterhof, alle Nachbarn haben dort ihre Mülltonne, somit liegt viel Müll auf der Straße
