Anandam Stays - Premium 3BHK plush homestay, Vaikom near Kumarakom

Location was excellent near to lake and with shops nearby. Ample parking for our car. Pet friendly nature of property. Two bedrooms with attached toilets downstairs for easy access. Kind and friendly host. Host was understanding enough to cater for our needs to let us stay in their traditional house since our mom could not climb the stairs. Really appreciate their support and kindness.

Caretaker could have done her job a little bit better in keeping the kitchen, toilet etc little bit more cleaner and with less dust. One or two waste bins would have been better. Some dishwashing liquids, cleaning sponge, toilet cleaners, tissue box, mosquito repellents etc would have definitely helped to make our stay better. Being aware of another house being in the front of our property with the same gate access would have helped us to accommodate that extra family better. Maybe a separate access for that house and good separation from this property would have made our private stay more private and easy for our pet to walk around. Just like to confirm that since we stayed at the traditional house downstairs and my review is for that area and not for first floor. However gate access is for the whole house.

We are a group of senior citizens who visited Vaikom for Pradosham darshan at Vaikom Mahadeva Temple, Kaduthuruthy Mahadeva Temple, and Ettumanoor Mahadeva Temple. During our pilgrimage, we stayed at Anandam Homestay, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The hospitality was warm, caring, and heartfelt. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, fully air-conditioned, and equipped with comfortable beds and all the essential amenities. We never felt as though we were staying away from home. Instead, it felt exactly like staying in our own home, with comfort, peace, and genuine care. We had a truly memorable and delightful stay. I wholeheartedly recommend Anandam Homestay to everyone visiting Vaikom. If you are planning a pilgrimage or a visit to the area, this is an excellent place to stay, and I am confident you will enjoy the same warm and homely experience that we did.

The amenities were exceptional and was of five star standards. The premises - surrounded by lush green vegetation and filled with decorative local antique items - were very spacy and the ambience suited so perfectly for a relaxing holiday. The bed rooms and the bathrooms were trendy, superbly functional and spotlesly clean and tastefully kept. The living room, the dining space and the kitchen were classy and well equipped. The warm and friendly approach and the cooking of the caretaker were also superb. And finally, the proximity of the place to the local attractions including the famous Vaikathappan's abode made it more attractive. A perfect and serene place to explore Vaikom and nearby places. Will be coing back.
