Bumble Cottage, Torcross - Heart of Torcross - Log burner - Ley views

Beautiful

The location was excellent. Great access to the coastal path. Lovely views across the Ley from the two front facing bedrooms The property was ideal for our needs. It was well equipped and comfortable Communication with Luxury Coastal was good - had a short text conversation with Emma during our stay. She responded to my text/query with information in a timely way. Beds were comfortable. The downstairs shower (I didn't use the upstairs one) was lovely. It was great the cottage accepted dogs - that was a big plus for us All in all a really enjoyable few days

We didn't spend very much time in the cottage during the day as we were out and had other friends staying locally who we cooked and spent time with in the evenings. So we didn't try the main oven, woodburner or other appliances available for example so can't comment on these (but everything looked good) There were no tea towels available at the cottage for our use though. Luckily I'd taken a couple myself which we used instead. I suppose my only issue about our stay is that the departure time of 9.00hrs on our last morning was too early. It didn't give us much time to get up, shower, have breakfast, pack, load the cars and leave the property clean and tidy and strip the beds etc so we forwent breakfast at the cottage that morning to make sure we could be ready to leave by 9.00. I would have preferred a 10am departure. It would have been a much more relaxing end to our break.
