We stayed at Bergamo Hotel Lingayen for 3 nights, and our experience was a mix of positives and areas for improvement. The location is convenient, being very close to the town proper. The baywalk/beach area is about a 15-minute drive from the hotel, which was manageable for us. During our third day, the air conditioner started leaking water. Thankfully, the staff assisted us promptly and arranged a smooth transfer to another room. Unfortunately, during our last night in the new room, we experienced mosquitoes. The next morning, my wife, our son, and I had several mosquito bites, with our son having around 12 bites, which made the stay uncomfortable. On a positive note, most of the staff were friendly and greeted us warmly whenever we saw them. The parking security and bellboy/room attendant were especially helpful with our luggage during check-in. A female room attendant and parking security also kindly offered help during check-out. However, our check-out experience at reception felt impersonal. The staff attended to us after I informed them we were checking out, but there was no greeting or inquiry about our stay. In terms of facilities, the pool was under maintenance during our visit. There is free cold and hot water available just outside the rooms, which was convenient. Parking is an open area, but there is a parking security both daytime and overnight, which we appreciated. The rooms could benefit from better maintenance and pest control. With improvements in these areas, the hotel could offer a much better overall experience.
