Gorgeous Oakhurst Retreat w/ Swimming Hole!

The property was beautiful, the pictures of the swimming hole do not do it justice. It's basically a whole river running through the backyard with a waterfall and everything. You can see the river from the windows and hear it from ask the porches which was super relaxing. The house was huge and had a mother in law suite that was separate and spacious. The house had the cutest little details throughout all the rooms.

When we arrived for check in the housekeeper was still there for 45 minutes, check in was 3pm so it was already not early. She did not seem to be in a hurry and the house could easily have been cleaner, my daughter found an empty chip bag on the side of her bed which made me wonder if they even changed the sheets on the beds which is gross. Also there is no shampoo, I usually bring my own but totally spaced it and ended up using handsoap for the 2 days we were there.

Location and very spacious

Bed sofas and all the blankets don’t smell clean and looks very old.
