There is a beautiful, private, residents only park which has a small waterfall and a lovely beach area for guests to sit in and relax or even swim! It is a natural, water play area with great views for the whole family! It is located between Shady Lane and Springwood rd.

We love welcoming well-behaved, adventurous pets to the Buckeye Ranch! We know that your friends are part of the family and often join you on your mountain excursions. Because we are located in a natural mountain environment where deer and other local wildlife are frequently active on or near the property, we ask that you adhere to the following guidelines to keep everyone safe.
Advance Notification: Please let us know if you are planning to bring your pet(s) at the time of booking, including the breed and number of pets. Wildlife Awareness: We share this space with local wildlife, including deer. Please keep a close eye on your pets at all times to ensure they do not chase, harass, or encounter local animals, which can be dangerous for both your pet and the wildlife. Indoor Manners: Please ensure your pets are house-trained. We kindly ask that pets stay off the furniture and beds. If your pet is prone to shedding, we appreciate you bringing their favorite blanket or bed to help keep the ranch clean. Leash Policy: Please keep your pets on a leash when walking them outside the immediate home area, as the surrounding terrain is home to many wild animals. Clean-Up: Please pick up after your pets immediately and dispose of waste in the outdoor trash bins provided.

As a chef, I’ve made sure the kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, silverware, cookware, cups, salt, pepper, a can of cooking spray, a coffee machine, a kettle, a microwave, an air fryer, a toaster, a blender and much more spices and supplies! We have an inside and outside dining table that can sit up to 14 people together! Whether you're whipping up a hearty breakfast before a hike or hosting a group dinner after a day at the lake, this space is fully equipped to handle your group's appetite.

Outdoor Utility: When you aren’t out exploring, the outdoor setup is ready for your group. Use the BBQ area for easy, hearty meals and the alfresco dining space in the front to refuel under the stars.

Where You’ll Sleep:
We’ve designed our sleeping arrangements to ensure everyone in your group gets a great night’s rest after a day of exploring the Sierras. Our 4 bedrooms are laid out to balance comfort.
Bedroom 1: Designed with a twin over full bunk bed, a twin bed, and a queen sized floor mattress—ideal for kids or friends sharing a room.
Bedroom 2: Equipped with a king bed and a sofa bed that can be used as two twin sofa beds or a queen sofa bed along with a half bathroom. An arcade machine is in this room as well as a 65 inch TV.
Bedroom 3 : Features 2 comfortable queen beds along with a full bathroom and a 65 inch TV.
Bedroom 4: Outfitted with two queen beds.


We provide fresh, high-quality linens and extra blankets for those crisp mountain evenings. Whether you’re fueling up for an early start at Yosemite or winding down after a day on the water at Bass Lake, you’ll find a comfortable spot to recharge.
