Cozy Cove Cottage

Great neighborhood that isn’t in the prime tourist area but easy to get to everything, yet still quiet & relaxing for down time. Great for traveling with kids/family. Ample space for everyone to spread out.

The grounds were less kept up than pictures display.

The house was very comfortable and well-furnished. The location was convenient for all of Seaside. We mostly enjoyed staying there and would recommend the place to anyone we know visiting Seaside.

Lack of instructions for using the washing machine and for the TV was regrettable. No book with listings of nearby restaurants as is often found in home rentals. The drainage in both the bathroom sinks, and the tub and shower WAS very slow. The extra duvet in the closet bedroom to the left in the house was NOT CLEAN. In fact, it seemed to have a big urine stain on it. Similarly, the extra blanket in the back bedroom to the right had a big yellow stain on it as well and did not feel clean. Finally, and dangerously, the glass door to the backyard does not lock, making the property somewhat vulnerable. The inside door locks, but the outside door to the backyard is off kilter so the dead bolt does not catch.

Property was very comfortable and located in a quiet neighborhood.

Dishes were left in the dishwasher for the guests to put away. Twin beds were not made up so the guests had to make the beds. No selection of coffee and teas often found at rental properties. Bring beach towels from home.
