The house was very spacious and worked well for the 12 of us, as well as a good stocked kitchen. The kids loved being outside and exploring. Great views and a short drive to Mesa Verde. Unfortunately, we were visiting at the beginning of the Government shutdown so parts of the various parks we visited were closed. We were still able to see a lot and the views did not disappoint! Absolutely loved riding the steam train from Durango to Silverton!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Mancos Hideaway. We were so close to Mesa Verde which is what brought us to the area. The house is HUGE so we had plenty of room to spread out with 7 adults. We also enjoyed grilling and stargazing, and just taking in the wonderful views all around the property. We would definitely stay again!

Location! Location! Location! We had early morning Ranger-guided tours thru the dwellings which are at least 45 minutes from the park entrance. This property is only a few miles from the entrance to Mesa Verde NP, so was easy to time our arrival. And while that was super convenient, it was not the best part of the property. The views from anywhere on the property were stunning - Point Lookout during sunrises and sunsets were spectacular! We enjoyed morning coffees on the deck, as well as evening cocktails under the stars!The spacious home was clean, kitchen was well-appointed, and bedrooms/beds were comfortable. The hosts provided pertinent information throughout the house so any questions we might have had were anticipated by them and were answered for us!We were only 6 adults and this home would have easily been comfortable for many more. Truly a perfect stay for us!

Thank you for allowing us to stay in this spacious home with plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms and beautiful views from the porch. I enjoyed visiting Mesa Verde National Park 3 days in a row with my husband andmy 2 daughters
