New Modern Lake House at Balsam Lake

This is a super cute cabin on a great part of Balsam Lake. The description was spot on. Jacob was very accessible and promptly answered any question we had. The cabin was well equipped to have a long family weekend with high end finishes and kitchen gadgets. The standup paddle boards were very nice to utilize during our stay too! Parking for multiple vehicles was excellent (which isn’t always the case at cabins). The porch was a favorite spot for our family to relax in. Thank you for an excellent stay!

Beautiful, comfortable home in a fantastic setting overlooking the lake. Extremely clean and kitchen was very well stocked with everything you may need. Beds were super comfy. The screened in porch was our morning place for coffee and looking out on the lake...perfect way to start the day. The dock was nice & also had 2 chairs to sit and ponder the day. Although we did not use the outside fireplace, it was a nice addition. Unfortunately, it was quite chilly and rainy for a good part of our stay, but was cozy inside with the wood fireplace. Very nice home!! Jacob was always quick to respond to any questions we had. I would love stay here again someday. Thank you, Jacob!

So much to love about this house and the location was great! 10 out of 10!

Great location for us. Beautiful property with lots of room. However, there were big dust bunnies under all the furniture and dead bugs in the drawer of the table in the living room. I washed the pillowcases of the double bed in the basement bedroom because they smelled. I’m certain they were not washed from the prior guest. You could use another hairdryer in the downstairs bathroom. We shared with those using the upstairs bathroom. We loved the location on the lake and the house itself. Just needs a more thorough cleaning between guests.
