Great flat, very comfortable and clean, with all you need for a very pleasant stay. The flat is on a busy street but it's very quiet at night, and you can hardly hear the occasional trains from the nearby railway (I mention it because I was slightly worried about it before going). The location is excellent, just between the two main beaches and a few minutes walk from the city center. I imagine it can get busy in summer but for Christmas we had no problem parking within 50m of the building. The hosts were very responsive and helpful.

Very nice property but very noisy at night but that’s not the owners fault ideally situated for travelling along the coast and further a field
There was a terrible smell coming from the drains which meant the bathroom had a awful smell all the time i put bleach down the sink in the shower and toilet and kitchen sink to help the smell

All the facilities we needed, very comfortable beds, very clean and cosy.. we loved our stay
There was nothing we didn’t like about the property, just had a bit of a problem with the heating system and the place was quite cold during the night. Other than that it was amazing

The stairs

Nice amenities, good space, wonderful towels and toiletries, was nice to have a kitchen and a washer.
A lot of stairs!!! Parking was at times difficult as it was a busy weekend and a washer without a dryer was also a challenge.

The property is at the top of the apartment building offering views of the Atlantic Ocean and the nearby beach. Idyllic enjoying the view from the kitchen window while eating at the breakfast bar.
Everything I wanted was catered for which meant it was a home (with a great view) from home. Its kitchen is better equipped than my own! Even sauces, sugar, salt and pepper were in the cupboards as well as butter and milk in the fridge.
Comfortable settee and chairs were a welcome way to relax after exploring Portrush. The bed was equally comfortable with quality sheets and duvet.
Host Peter was professional before, during and after my stay and, although I didn’t require his assistance while in his apartment, I felt he was on-hand to sort issues.
Car parking is right outside the property and is the perfect distance from the town centre to avoid fees and the dreaded traffic queues that can often happen.
The apartment is also ideally situated to the town’s railway station.
Nothing.

Clean functional and in a good location
Then only problem for my wife was the number of stairs. Many bot be a fair comment bearing in mind she is in her 80 and we did know when we booked that it was at the top of the house.

Very handy location - close to everything. Although, Saturday night was noisy outside

Fantastic location especially for the beach. Also within walking distance of the town centre. Apartment very comfortable and appreciated the extras included i.e. cleaning materials, cereals, tea and biscuits. Would definitely stay there again.

Location was excellent. Just a short walk from the train station and a few minutes walk from stunning beaches. The property felt spacious, shower pressure excellent, and there was a beautiful view beyond the kitchen window (though more on that below).
There was no hot water on our first evening, but after calling the helpline I was told to press the boost button, upon which was written "DO NOT USE", hence we hadn't used it, and we swiftly had our hot water.
I am not one for writing particularly negative reviews, and I wish I could have loved it, but sometimes a property does disappoint.
The property had a "strictly no smoking" policy yet had a strong smell of stale tobacco throughout our stay. Management supplied us with an air purifier after I mentioned this issue. Not sure it helped as the smell was quite strong even on our last day and was possibly ingrained in the sofa fabric. Both myself and my daughter are asthmatic and specifically look for pet and smoke -free properties.
Dishes in the cupboard (especially pots and pans) were not very clean. There was a very strong smell of damp coming from behind the cutlery drawers.
There was a very beautiful view beyond the kitchen window, however it was very much marred by the build up of condensation inside the double glazing and grime on the glass. Photo of "sunset through grime" attached.
I haven't yet received my security deposit of £200 four days now since returning from our trip. Upon booking the trip I received a message saying "A damage deposit of GBP 200 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property." I have been told it was processed today but may take another 5-10 business days to appear in my account. I have never had this issue with any other property booked through Booking.com

There was a really bad smell coming from the bathroom and landing area in our apartment, the entrance hall and staircase were dirty and dusty definitely wasn't worth £312 for 2 nights 🤢😷☹️
