Hospedarte Palacete Real

We loved the breakfast. we had yogurt and fruit-so so much fruit, cereal and milk, beautiful cheeses and fresh rolls. The coffee was amazing. One day we had to eat breakfast before the assigned time so they sent us to the sister hotel down the street and the breakfast was amazing there as well. We used the tables outdoors to have our own little picnics-when we first arrived and then the Monday when almost everything was closed so we went to a nearby town for some supplies and had a lovely meal out front of the hotel. All the staff were amazing, so helpful. I went down to the reception and asked for ice and they were always so eager to help. We were in El Rocio because we wanted to explore Donana National Park. We saw flamingoes from the boardwalk at sunset the first night we were there. The hotel is so close to the water. Lovely boardwalk. The room was clean clean with a little frig which was a nice surprise. It is so great that there are chairs and sofas and little tables everywhere so you can go and read or enjoy a glass of wine-very inviting. They arranged for us a tour of the Donana which was so kind of them. The tour was phenomenal.

Everything was great, especially the staff. Very clean. The only thing was that we did not know the town basically closes down during the week. But the woman at the front desk gave us so much information of places to go. So we went to some little towns nearby like Almonte. Matalascanas Beach is part of the Donana so it was great to see that also. But I would keep my stay to the weekend only next time.

Location in El Rocio was excellent with easy parking outside. Our room was very comfortable with everything we needed. The staff were attentive and helpful. Breakfast was simple but nice. I’d recommend staying here.

El Rocio and the style of this hotel were an experience in itself. Beautiful building! Late check-in was easy, staff was friendly. Room was comfortable and modern.

There were a few stranger‘s hair in the bed and shower, except for that it was clean. Breakfast wasn‘t very appealing. Ham looked old, orange juice tasted funny. We left it basically untouched. But we didn‘t mind much since we wanted to head out early anyways.

The hotel was pretty & the downstairs was architecturally & historically interesting.

‘Room with a balcony’ - bad idea. Said ‘balcony’ was only a tiny step out the window - which overlooked a massive ‘square’. Very noisy with people carousing all night so no sleep for us. Thankfully we were able to move to a much quieter room. I wish we’d been warned about rooms at the front of the property.
