A well equipped and comfortable flat, on the 6th floor (the lift is modern and works fine) of an apartment block, with a sunny terrace and a balcony. Has a washing machine, and lots of sunny drying space.
Well located in 'real' rather than touristy Lecce, just 2-3k from the old town and Duomo. Excellent local shops.
Secure parking for our rented car in an allocated space.
Very friendly and knowledgeable landlord, who left us to it, but was available to sort out any problems (e.g. replacing a light switch)
Great views over southern Lecce, especially during spectacular (infrequent) storms
Nothing at all. At first sight the local area environment looked a bit uncared for and under development. However, actually it grows on you and is all fine. You feel part of a real local community.
