The apartment is in a residential area , about a good 30 minute walk to the historic centre of Lecce. It’s basic , a bit dated but clean and a good base for exploring southern Puglia. Parking is easy , directly outside the apartment , with 2 supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The host was very helpful and the apartment was fairly well equipped and we were able to cook some food. Bed is comfortable, great air conditioning with plenty of storage space and a large balcony. Also it was nice and quiet at night.
The shower unit is far too small. We are not big people but we just about managed , which is a pity because the bathroom is not small.

It was a very comfortable apartment in a good location with good parking. It also had a washing machine. Paola is a very friendly good host.
