Welcome to The Redneck Yacht Club!

This is a vacation rental unlike any other offered on the lake. Maybe offered anywhere. Come and experience the most eclectic house this side if the Mississippi. You never know what you'll find!
Dozens of armadillos? Check.
A Jackalope? Check.
A Buffalo wearing pearls? Double Check!

Want to sit on authentic rattan from the Philippines circa WWII, or would you rather park it on some legit orange velvet from the 70s? The Victorian corner is also an excellent choice if you're feeling fancy.

Eat dinner out on the gorgeous deck. Relax down at the boathouse or lay in the hammock and read a book. Swim and Kayak all day, then sit by the big fire ring at night.

Walk next door to the neighborhood common area to launch your boat, play some volleyball, or visit the sand beach!

Weather not cooperating? Stay inside and do our house scavenger hunt! Stream your favorites on one of the many TVs. Grab a board game or a murder mystery box to solve from the loft if that's more your speed!

If you want to stay in a modern, sleek, hotel style house where everything looks the same....we can't help you. This is our actual house and it reflects lifetimes lived on its walls and in its displays. But if you want a genuinely interesting stay full of History, warmth, happiness, and an Applebee's style devotion to eclectic decor, this is your place.

Our house has been a site of welcome for many over the years, and now we are thrilled to welcome you as the newest members of the Redneck Yacht Club!

An important note about this home:
We welcome EVERYONE to come have a wonderful time at this property. In the interest of full disclosure we want to be upfront that, while our children have spent countless hours here, this house is not childproofed. There are high balconies, steep ladders, glass cabinetry, etc that are accessible by small hands. Also, there are items in the house that some may deem inappropriate for children, including some decor that incorporates profanity or jokes intended for adults. We do not wish for anyone to be caught off guard or surprised that this was not mentioned ahead of time.

In the interest of everyone's safety we just ask the children are closely supervised and that parents be aware of these potential hazards before booking. If you have questions - we will get back to you fast!

Furthermore, there is a couple of straight up creepy dolls in the living room. In case that's a thing for you.

My friends and I do a yearly get together that we’ve done for the last five years. This house was, by far, the best place we have stayed. House was super clean and was nicely decorated. Kitchen was outstanding. Location was great and right on the water. Each year we pick a different location but have already decided that we will be coming back here in a year or two. The owner was easy to communicate with and made our stay outstanding.

This is a comfy, roomy, unique home in the lake! We spent hours outside kayaking and fishing! When family visited we spent hours cooking in the expansive kitchen and playing games! Wonderful home with three of the bedrooms having their own bathroom!

I was disappointed with the place. The house needs new caretakers. No door knobs on the first floor bedrooms, just a rope wrapped around the door. No covers on air vents, big safety concern. No window coverings on first floor bedroom with no window coverings where the tubs are or where the toilet is next to a window. Outlets in bedrooms and bathrooms that don’t work. No closets to hang clothes. No extra blankets were found. Bedding that smelled like they were not washed. Vomit was found in the upstairs bathroom on the floor and bath mat. All pet gates were broken. solar lights were nonfunctional or they were broken. The outdoor patio furniture looks like it has not been cleaned in years, between the thick layer of dirt and bird poo on the furniture we did not sit outdoors. I cannot recommend this property at this time. The view was great but there is much to do to bring this home up to acceptable standards before others stay at this property.

Lake view provided a very relaxing atmosphere. Great kitchen that had everything you could wantUpon arriving you could tell the home had not been used and/or cleaned in a while as there was a lot of cobwebs and dust. Found it a little odd there were no door knobs on the bathroom doors in the 2 master bedrooms. In addition, one master did not have curtains or blinds and there were no window coverings over the bathtubs Finally railing on deck is not secure

Great location with beautiful views and gorgeous sunsets! Large, clean, spacious home, we did not even use parts of the home it was so large. We spent most of our time on top tier of the boat house soaking up the sun and lake as much as possible. Kitchen was gorgeous and very well stocked, with so many cool upgrades that us girls now want in our own homes We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this home for a peaceful, relaxing getaway.

Overall it is a very nice place. Kitchen is well appointed and the black stone grill was great. Only drawbacks were that some doors don’t lock and there weren’t curtains on windows where there should have been. It’s right next to the private marina which hosted a loud party. Decor is out there but I would stay again.

Our family had a wonderful time at this house. Everyone had a place to go to if they needed a break from the large family chaos. Everything thing worked well, but the dryer needs some maintenance. Some instructions about the upstairs air-conditioning would be helpful. We were very pleased with the accommodations and the availability of floats and life vests!

Had a fabulous time at Lake Anna for spring break! The house was perfect for our family...lots of space and a gorgeous view of the lake from the porch! We took advantage of all of the kayaks and tubes and other amenities! Loved cooking on the blackstone! Will be back next year!

We loved every bit of this property. Our dogs relished the massive grounds to run around on. The water was too cold, but we spent every day on the deck or dock just relaxing. The neighborhood is very quiet, allowing for long walks with the dogs. The one item the house could use more of is bath towels, but we made do. We loved all the different decor. We searched high and low for anything “questionable “ lol, but I guess our threshold is high because nothing was crazy :). We had a blast!!

This place is absolutely stunning! We were in town for a nearby wedding and wanted to stay somewhere special—choosing this lakefront property was the best decision we could have made. The home is filled with the owner’s unique and fascinating collections, which made exploring the space an experience in itself.After the ceremony, we invited the bride and groom over for evening drinks, and the setting couldn’t have been more perfect. Watching the sunset over the water was the ideal way to end such a beautiful day.Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a memorable, peaceful, and inspiring getaway.

We had a wonderful week at the red neck yacht club! The house was so much fun with great decks to hang out on, tons of fun stuff to check out inside and plenty of room for the whole family. The house was well stocked with everything you would need and the host was super helpful can’t wait to come back.

Spent 10 days here with family and friends coming and going. The house is more than large enough to host large groups and is well equipped. The bathrooms all seem to have had recent upgrades, but the house is definitely showing its age. It could definitely do with some repairs. It’s by far the most unique place we ever stayed - everyone had a great time. We had only a few minor issues - the blackstone grill is a nice addition but we had to purchase a tank of propane. Also, maybe due to the weather getting cooler there’s a pretty significant infestation of mice. Definitely recommend giving this place a try if you need a HUGE, unique, property for gathering. The lake is lovely.

The owners are the BEST! Once we booked, we had their contact info and any questions we had they answered QUICKLY! The house was perfect for our group. We celebrated our parents 50th wedding Anniversary, and the owners had flowers, cupcakes and a personalized note waiting for us when we arrived. We had perfect weather for the week! The kitchen is fully stocked! The house was very neat when we arrived. The 2 master bathrooms could use some blinds on the windows in the bathrooms as well as places to hang towels after use. And the one master bedroom sliding door has no curtain. The Blackstone was great to have on the deck. Unfortunately, the stove was broken when we got there but the owner was accommodating about that. The adults and kids had a great time on the dock. We did not have anyone younger than 10years old so that helped with the dock and jumping. We rented a boat for the week and that was a great way to be on the water. We also had a nice dinner out for my parent's anniversary at Callie Opie's Orchard Restaurant. Lake Anna was a lot of fun and I am sure we will be back!

This is a very well maintained property and perfect for large groups. Direct access to the lake makes this house perfect for a summer outing! The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking and feeding larger groups. The host was very responsive to our queries and made sure that we had a nice stay. We all loved our time in this lake-front property. Will definitely try to come back during summer.

We absolutely loved our stay!!! The house was incredible.. amazingly decorated and had everything you would ever need for a weekend away (we cooked full thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen had everything and more!) Chris and kaleigh were great to communicate with and answered any and all questions so quickly! They were so sweet to leave us a thanksgiving cake as well :) Can’t say enough great things about this VRBO!

Very interesting interior design! Must see to believe! Amused us all weekend. Great location! Had fun on kayaks! Definitely would rent again—except may not be appropriate for kids as there were some safety issues with a few banisters. Would have also been nice if they had an instruction book telling us how to work gas fireplace, where paddles were, how to work tv, etc. we texted owner though and they were responsive. Overall a very fun place!

This house is even better than it looks in the listing, from the awesome and funny decor, to the most comfortable beds we've ever slept on, and a fantastic view from the look out. The blackstone grill on the back deck lets you easily make a great breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the whole crew.

This house was such an incredible home! It had a museum feel to it kind of. The owners were such incredibly sweet, attentive people. They responded very quickly to any questions that I had. I Love to cook and wow was this kitchen so incredible to cook in, everything was organized easy to find! I don’t normally leave reviews but this was a must because of how amazing the house was. Our employees said they want to come back every year. We will definitely be back!

This house provides a fantastic lake experience! My friends and I all had a great time swimming, kayaking, and exploring the house’s decor. The hosts were wonderful and went above and beyond with their hospitality—they remembered that I was booking for a birthday weekend celebration and left some flowers+cupcakes.

This was our family vacation with our grown children their spouses and our grandchildren and my mother we all had an amazing time we hardly left the property we did a lot of cooking there were lots of spices in the pantry great pantry area for all of our extra items more than enough linens for our family Plenty of beds plenty of room for everyone to sleep and be comfortable the boathouse was filled with lots of floating options as well as life jackets we had a great time during the day at the lake and just a wonderful time being together as a family such an amazing house can’t say enough good things about it plenty of bathrooms If you have a large family I need a great place to stay definitely this is the house for you!! ♥️♥️♥️😍♥️♥️

My husband and I have stayed at MANY homes over the years and this was the best by far. The house was immaculately clean, water was clear as anything with tons of fun fish and small turtles, Kayleigh was AMAZING at answering all my questions so quickly and clearly. Big kids spent all day in the water, swimming and using the kayaks. A few minor bumps like the water trampoline wasn't able to be used or it took a while to figure out which light switches went to what but it just felt like it went with the fun vibe of the house and Kayleigh helped with anything we couldn’t figure out. The house was soo fun and kids had a blast doing the scavenger hunt and even made their own! The beach 2 properties way was definitely a major plus and the little kids spent most of the time there walking and finding seashells and playing in the sand. Overall we would definitely rent here again! Thank you!

Kaleigh was so wonderful and accommodating! We enjoyed our last minute family trip with our 3 young kids (3,5 &7) and even though the house is not "child proof" as she stated, it was like a beautiful museum for the kids and they treated it as such!
