About this cottage rental
In the heart of Normandy, our 19th-century house offers a relaxing setting by the swimming pool (2.50x4m) or a sauna.
On the 1st floor: 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms
On the 2nd floor: relaxation area with foosball, darts, minibar, and 2 double beds, including 1 king-size.
On the ground floor: brand new fully equipped kitchen, cozy living room, and large dining room.
The cottage is adjacent to our second cottage, the "Caux'ttage."
If you wish, you can rent both together.
Between land and sea, you can stroll along the beach or take walks in the forest.
The cottage is located 5 minutes from the Bocasse amusement park and the Clères zoo. At the foot of the A150, you're 15 minutes from the historic center of Rouen (Jeanne d'Arc Historical Center), 45 minutes from Dieppe (voted the most beautiful market in France in 2020), 1.5 hours from the beaches of Deauville, and 2 hours from Mont-Saint-Michel.
We welcome bachelorette and bachelorette parties, as well as birthdays.

We were here twice on a return travel from the Netherlands to the south of France. I would rate this location as OK for a transit, I would however not recommend staying here for a longer holiday because it is very noisy especially when there were other guests in the same building. House had a bit of a musty smell and there was some moisture. It does give you a typical French/old house idea from a positive point of view. Swimming pool is small and has a view on a barn. It is a bit industrial, the sauna cabin is positioned between bedrooms. Kitchen tiny vs the amount of guests that could stay in this apartment. Big diner room. Furthermore multiple signs and remarks with (payment) warnings throughout the house, in French. Does not feel very warm & welcome all these signs, understandable though the owner needs to clarify house rules. Maybe better to use a different format then all signs.
A part from these things, communication with Melanie was great, with some translation on both sides, all was clear and also very friendly!
