About this house rental
4400 sq. feet of northern New Mexico history and charm on 3 private acres. Our second family home is a secluded and modernized adobe villa with three gorgeous kiva fireplaces, vigas ceilings, beautiful tile work, chef's kitchen, and modern baths. Situated above the Taos Valley in the trees, Casa de la Mañana overlooks Taos, the Rio Grande Gorge, and the Sangre de Cristos mountains. Despite the seclusion, we are 10 minutes from Taos' services, restaurants, and historic square. 45 minutes from 3 different ski areas, 10 minutes from the Taos Country Club golf course, and minutes away from state and federal land for hiking, biking, river rafting, fly fishing, and outdoor pursuits.

We spent 3 days with 3 generations of family and friends celebrating a 90th birthday in the family. The home is convenient for visits to Taos and surrounding area. We had plenty of room for 9 adults. The home is quiet with beautiful views from the house and large deck. We took full advantage of the gas grill and gourmet kitchen to prepare meals.

The house was beautiful, clean and comfortable. We chose it for its size and location. We had a group of 9 adults. The back deck was great for an evening bbq. The door lock didn't work when we arrived, but the owner was easily able to reset it for us.

This was a wonderful place to stay in connection with a wedding at a venue ‘around the corner’. Very cozy while generous space, and very personal atmosphere. Loved it!

Had a Great Stay. Loved the home. The opportunity to spend a few days with the three families all together, all in under one roof, was magic for Jackie and me. Big disappointment about the weather on Thursday night. Couldn't see the Eclipse. The Property and the city lost power in the snow storm. And we had a rough trip home (Icy roads & Wind).I Left a leather hat somewhere there (a gift from someone). Don't suppose there is a way to get that back?Anyway, We loved the stay and thanks for making it available.Not a big fan of Vrbo management or communications. Emails contain no Information, only only links to the website messages in database. No info to download or save. They claimed parts of my original registration information was lost in a website upgrade.
