Main House: Open plan dining and sitting room (Sat TV, DVD, WiFi) with doors to terrace. Kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher). Utility room (washing machine). Cloakroom. Double bedroom (A/C) with en suite bath and doors leading to terrace. Two twin bedrooms (A/C). Shower room. Cabana: Double bedroom (A/C) with en suite shower. TV. Small fridge, microwave, sink and kettle. Doors leading to small terrace. Outside: Shower. Portable barbecue. Open and covered terraces. Table tennis. Spacious lawn area. Private gated heated* swimming pool (10m x 5m) with corner steps.
Set in countryside between authentic Pollença Old Town and the bustling seaside town of Port de Pollença, Ca'n Xaloc is a perfect base for families of differing generations with a self-contained cabana ideal for older teenagers or grandparents looking for a little more independence whilst also being very much a part of holiday proceedings.
With traditional Mallorquin features, the interiors offer tiled floors and high beamed ceilings all of which combine together to create a comfortable homely feel. The main house affords an open plan layout with sitting room complete with fireplace (ornamental only) and dining area leading on to a fully equipped kitchen. A spacious double bedroom includes a small seating area, beamed archway and doors leading to the pool area. In addition to the main house, a separate cabana offers further accommodation for those seeking a little more privacy. Accessed via a pathway through the gardens, this individual spot offers a double bedroom with en suite shower room, TV, small kitchenette and its own terrace with views over the gardens and surrounding countryside.
Thoughtfully planned out gardens offer ample space for everyone to enjoy and relax. Surrounded by beautiful far-reaching, rural vistas to the mountains, this tranquil location provides a choice of covered terraces to delight in many al fresco lunches. Taking pride of place in the manicured gardens, the gated pool takes centre stage whilst also offering a little more peace of mind – during the cooler months the pool can be heated for a small supplement.
Just a short drive away, Pollença Old Town with its Roman-aged square and narrow cobbled streets has a bountiful choice of restaurants, shops and chic cafes. A little further along the road, Port de Pollença boasts an extensive sandy beach; its shallow waters perfectly suited for a family day at the waterfront. Lining the promenade, a fine selection of stylish restaurants lead to the famous Pine Walk.
*The pool can be heated (supplement £140 per week) during March, April, May and October – please request in advance. Air Conditioning usage is on a timer (12 hours per day) The WiFi signal does not extend to the Cabana. Due to the design of the stairs access to the mezzanine is prohibited for safety reasons.
Please note that in addition to the property rental there is a local tourist tax to pay for all visitors aged 16 and over. €2.00 (€2.20 incl. IVA) (£2) per night for the first 9 nights, €1.00 (€1.10 incl. IVA) (£1) per night for each night thereafter per person. We will add this amount to your booking.
