After escaping the stifling atmosphere of the Lyon metropolitan area, we headed south to Provence and discovered an absolute gem. The apartment is spacious, impeccably clean, and filled with the scent of verbena and lavender. It has a large, comfortable living room, an exceptionally well-equipped kitchen, wonderful mattresses, crisp percale bed linen and beautiful arctic-blue shutters. And directly opposite the front door is a very popular local bakery. Eyragues itself was another discovery. It is a quiet, clean and safe Provençal town where everything is within walking distance, parking is easy and people are genuinely kind. It is also a perfect base for exploring the region: Arles, Nîmes and Avignon are all within easy reach, as is the extraordinary landscape of the Camargue, with its flamingos and wide open spaces. Our hosts were extremely nice, helpful and completely reliable. During our stay, the town was celebrating its local festival, with a funfair, bulls and horses — an unexpected and very entertaining glimpse of local life. We were sorry to leave and are already planning how and when to come back.

Le logement spacieux, le calme, la localisation. Effectivement comme tous les commentaires le disent, l'appartement est très propre et bien aménagé. La kitchenette bien pourvue. Juste ce qu'il nous fallait.
