Peaceful Blue Ridge Cabin w/ Decks & Fire Pit

The place was very clean and organized, and we appreciated how everything was organized and labeled. We also loved all the decor and the screened in porch!

The cabin was pretty well stocked, although we did wish the cabin had a baking sheet, a rubber spatula, and Ziploc bags. Aside from that, everything was great!

The location was beautiful! The cabin was super cozy and decorated as one might expect (plenty of cute black bears). The owner provided clear instructions regarding the stay and also had a cute coffee table book that highlighted nearby hiking trails, restaurants, and even the Bigfoot Museum.

I will say, they were NOT joking about how narrow and winding the roads were (I had to put my car in low gear for the last 15 minutes of my drive to the cabin). We hiked to the nearby lakes, and they were a bit lackluster, but the woods surrounding them were gorgeous. We even got to see some fresh bear tracks in the mud! Would definitely recommend, but bring groceries with you! We ended up only leaving twice (once to get groceries and once head home) due to the roads. It was also snowing and a bit icy, so maybe during the summer it's a bit more travelable.
