About this house rental
About the vacation home:
“Dat greune Huus” lives up to its name and welcomes you with a Scandinavian-style green interior. From your parking spot right next to the house, you enter the hallway through a porthole door. A spacious entryway with a small cabinet and additional storage space keeps your hands free and your mind at ease for your vacation.
From the hallway, you enter the open living area. To your right is a beautiful gray designer dining table that invites you to enjoy leisurely meals with family or friends and seats up to 6 people. The morning sun sets a cheerful mood, while the evening sun provides the perfect backdrop for romantic dinners. High chairs can be rented on-site through our agency.
On your left is a spacious (extendable) corner sofa that’s guaranteed to make you feel right at home. Here you can sit comfortably, chat, read, watch TV, and enjoy the fire in the fireplace. The fireplace is located in the center of the room between the two large patio windows overlooking the greenery. Board games are available for a cozy game night. And, of course, there’s also a modern flat-screen TV connected to Magenta TV with 100 channels and access to various media libraries.
From the living room, you can step out onto the sun terrace. Comfortable outdoor furniture invites you to linger. A Weber grill and a dining set are perfect for leisurely barbecue evenings, while two beach chairs let you relax (guests must clean the grill after use; otherwise, you may incur additional charges later).
From the terrace, you look out onto a large meadow bordering a small stream; on the other side of the stream, within sight, is a large playground for the children.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots, pans, and cooking utensils. So nothing stands in the way of wonderful cooking evenings, even while you’re on vacation. An induction cooktop, oven, microwave, and fridge-freezer combo—as well as, of course, a dishwasher—offer all the modern conveniences. You can make your morning coffee using the drip coffee maker or the Nespresso machine. A washing machine rounds out the kitchen amenities.
The lower bathroom, like the kitchen, opens off the hallway. It features a walk-in shower, a sink with ample counter space, a towel warmer, and a toilet. An infrared sauna with soothing warmth is the highlight on cold fall or winter days.
In the storage room under the stairs, you’ll find cleaning supplies, a vacuum cleaner, a hand broom, and a dustpan. It also offers plenty of space for beach gear, shoes, and rubber boots.
In the separate shed next to the house, you’ll find sand toys for the little ones and a red, foldable handcart for your trips to the nearby family lagoon.
The stairs lead you to the upper floor. From the small hallway with a loft, you enter the master bedroom, which features a large and comfortable box-spring bed (full-length mattress 180 x 200 cm), flanked by two nightstands with cozy lighting fixtures. A closet offers plenty of space for your vacation wardrobe, and an armchair can serve as a reading nook or a place to lay out clothes. An in-room safe is located inside the closet.
The children’s bedroom features two 90 x 200 cm beds. The highlight is the pull-out trundle beds, allowing up to 4 people to sleep comfortably in this room. For younger children, these pull-out beds can also serve as a safety barrier. Here, too, a wardrobe and two spacious drawers built into the beds provide ample storage space. A few books and toys are tucked away in the drawers as a surprise for young children. There’s also an inflatable ladybug and some Schleich animals for the little ones.
Between the two bedrooms is the upper bathroom, featuring a skylight, bathtub, sink, and toilet.
