Disappointed

Bedroom was ok but limited headroom

. This property was nothing like advertised, the whole place was tired with secondhand soap, concrete shower resembling a caravan site toilet block, no towels, no cooking utensils,cracked plates, the gardens were unkempt, garden furniture old and unusable. . We asked for the heating on as it was cold,the host was very reluctant saying it didn’t normally go on this early , it did not get put on until well after we had gone to bed and then only on low setting. Very strange noise in the middle of the night like someone emptying marbles into an old biscuit tin from the top of a step ladder (not rain)

Nice and quiet place to stay

Nice large garden with a stream at the end with trees and hammocks. Property available is an annex/separate dwelling around the back of the hosts property. Accommodation was clean and very good value. Host has a nice dog that is happy to play. Host does not bother guests. Overall more like 8.5 rather than 8 score.

This is a small village with narrow lanes and very limited parking. I parked in a reserved spot at the Mairie Office car parking which offers just two reserved places, one disabled and just two public places. I went out early in the morning but had no problems.

Very quiet location easy to access on way to Calais. Lovely garden with a stream running through Kitchenette fine to provide our evening meal and warm crolssants for breakfast

Rustic surroundings. Use of extensive garden. Friendliness of hosts.

Difficult to get into one side of the bed because the roof was so close. More pillows would have been good.

Bon séjour au calme et au plus proche de la nature. Proche de Chartres et du château de Maintenon.

Le calme, le jardin et ses occupants : poule, chat, chien, cochons d'inde!!! et les mirabelles!! La fraîcheur de la maison en pleine canicule. (sauf l'étage mais appareil de climatisation installé).

Le problème des petites marches sombres du rez de chaussée accidentogènes.

Adresse à retenir

Nous y avons séjourné à 4 pour seule nuit. Logement très agréable au calme. La chambre parentale est magnifique. L’hôte est réactif et très accueillant. Nous y séjournerons à nouveau avec plaisir
