Akovos Cottage Garden Retreat is located in mountainous Arcadia at an altitude of 900m, in the village of Akovos which takes its name from the dozens of natural springs and the Latin Aqua (water).
It is 28 km from the cosmopolitan Kalamata and its beautiful beaches. Surrounded by a lush edible garden of 2,000 sq.m.
The house of 250 years and its surrounding area, offer unforgettable moments of relaxation, authentic accommodation experience and magnificent views of the surrounding mountain peaks of northern Taygetos.
The space
Traditional with romantic and vintage touches, the house provides a calm and nostalgic stay.
The area is dominated by wood and stone constructions, the warmth in winter with the safe energy fireplace and the natural coolness of the mountain in summer.
It has private parking, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and WC, a bedroom with 2 beds and 2 sofa beds in the living room.
Guests are welcome to taste the fruits of the organic garden and the vegetables from the garden, while the four-legged members of the family will enjoy complete freedom in an area of 2 acres.
Visitor access
Guests have access to all areas of the house and garden except the warehouses, for security reasons.
