The Prince Edward County Church, A Unique Escape

What a lovely spacious airy vibe! A wonderful job of embracing the old church feel while adding contemporary touches. The beds were all so comfortable and the set up gave everyone space. The kitchen area was roomy and accommodating for a few cooks together. Even though it was March we were able to use the outdoor space to stargaze at night and enjoy a coffee and book in the morning.

What an amazing unique property, very open concept, the wood stove gave cosy feeling, kitchen was well equipped. This property was great for our family get together.

Stayed here for a second time now and it was just as good as the first time!

Prince Edward County Church really is a special place to stay. It is remarkable to stay in a converted church which retains many original features but which has been so lovingly converted into a wonderful living space. In addition there is even more space in the extension which houses a well equipped kitchen, two more bedrooms and another bathroom. We really appreciated the music system in the property; the provision of reading materials - magazines and books; and the availability of board games, etc. Adam, our host, was excellent at communicating with us prior to our stay; during it when we had a query - which he promptly answered; and as we were checking out. Its location is excellent for exploring Prince Edward County which is an absolute gem. We did the Dunes Beach trail recommended by Adam and loved exploring the dunes and the different habitats. There are pretty villages, too: Bloomfield, Wellington and also the town of Picton. Plenty of great cafes and restaurants to choose from, as well as sites of cultural and historic interest. We would highly recommend this accommodation and Prince Edward County!
