About this house rental
Summary:
This spacious home is perfect for all your needs! Our large, open concept home will house your entire family, or friends. It is newly update and stocked with comfortable sheets, cozy pillows, and luxurious towels. The backyard is a fenced in sanctuary. Wi-Fi is provided. With easy access to a plethora of restaurants, tourists attractions like DownTown Pocatello, and hiking, you are sure to have a fun time! We are 1 minute from the hospital and just blocks away from Idaho State University.
The Space:
The space consists of 5 large bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We are in a quaint neighborhood on a hill, and just 1 minute from Portneuf Hospital. Idaho State is blocks away, and down town Pocatello is just a 5 minute drive. We are a 5 minute walk from some hiking trails.
Guest Access:
You have sole access to the entire home, not including the garage.
The Neighborhood:
We are located in a quiet neighborhood. We are near nature walks and hiking. Our backyard has a great view of the next he’ll over, and at the end of our street is a wonderful view of Chinese Peak.
Getting Around:
Car is the best mode of transportation for getting around Pocatello.
Other Things to Note:
Absolutely no events allowed. Evidence of events will result in additional charges of unauthorized additional guests, cleaning, and maintenance fees for failure to abide by rules and policies.
Interaction with Guests:
I live about Five minutes away. I usually have my phone on me and can respond quickly. If there is an emergency, please call 911 and then reach me by text or phone call.

First time booking a home, booked the house for five adults and three children. To me it was an excessive charge for two nights. When you see a $xxx per night, that’s not the full price: There are fees. Double the stated nightly rate and you’ll get the “full” price. Property was nice and very accommodating but it would’ve been the same price had I booked two double hotel rooms.

The property managers were so good to us, and very easy to communicate with! The house wonderfully suited our needs with open space and a wonderful bedroom to bathroom ratio! We were very comfortable in this home! The kitchen felt minimally stocked compared to many we've stayed in, but it worked for our short stay. Unfortunately, the greatest challenge with our stay was poor communication, seeming to stem from homeowner as the property is listed for sale, and we had realtors and people showing up for showings, as well as a scheduled open-house. A few knocks at the door wouldn't have been too problematic, but it was quite unsettling that people were attempting to walk in, not knowing/realizing we were inside. Hopefully that will never happen again, because aside from that, I would stay here again for sure!

I would book this place again because it is terrific for dogs, the yard is in excellent condition and the bed sheets are wonderful. But the place could be cleaner.
The kitchen floor desperately needs to be mopped. Whoever is vacuuming is just running around furniture instead of moving it. The bathroom sinks need Limeaway. Dirty rags were in the laundry when we arrived, plus the dryer had linens inside. Dead leaves are building up on the back patio and get blown into the house. Tissues in the bathrooms would be nice too.
