Walk five blocks to a stunning beach, go fishing or boating at the marina. Hike or ski the nearby mountains. Access to the bike trail is three blocks away.
The main living area boasts a mountain-lodge vibe, with high vaulted ceilings, knotty pine finishes, and a smart TV. For cozy evenings, sit and chat on the six-seat sectional sofa and rocking chair and feel the warmth of the gas fireplace. Upstairs in the loft, there is a futon that sleeps two guests.
Enjoy the fresh alpine air on an expansive deck that's perfect for outdoor entertaining, with a grill, a picnic table, and plenty of Adirondack chairs.
Whip up easy dinners in the well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, including a gas range. Keep the chef company at a countertop bar, or gather the group in the dining area, where a chandelier hangs above a beautiful wood table set for eight.

The cabin was in a perfect location to get to the lake. Easy flat walk or bike ride to the beach. Nice neighborhood and close to Tahoe City. Our family is always looking for a chance to get out on the water and enjoy our summer. Would stay again and enjoyed our trip.

The cabin has good bones but it’s clear the owners have done minimal necessary to keep it as a rental. The location is nice.The front door has broken into before and the repair is such that the doorframe does not really close. We learned after about four nights that the door wasn’t locking. The sliding door is missing the plate on the inside, so when the bear comes to try and break it (which one almost did), the door can be knocked off the track. The slider barely slides.The carpet is dirty and needs to be cleaned. The are rug just needs to be thrown away. The stairs have a narrow landing which is expected because they are older. But the stairs are carpeted, and with the narrow landing they are dangerous as you can easily slip on a misplaced heel. I did exactly that, fell halfway down the stairs and broke a toe.The downstairs shower is missing the soap dish and has a hole in the wall. The upstairs shower (pics included) has mold in the shower and the backing is falling off.The beds (at least upstairs) and the sofa are all worn and need to be replaced. The linens were fine, but when we took off the pillow cases the pillows themselves are old and stained.If you are a cook you will not be happy in the kitchen. The kitchen pans are so scratched I and kissing the coating they also need to be thrown out. There is a note on the fridge that says it might not be cold, wait 72 hrs. That would have been half of our trip! It’s clearly a scratch-n-dent.
