About this house rental
You can't get any closer to the lake than this! While enjoying coffee or drinks anywhere on the huge wrap around deck, you'll feel like you're literally on the water with the gorgeous panoramic lake views. This Lake Keowee home has lots of indoor and outdoor entertaining space and is located in the premier mid section of Lake Keowee. You are close to everything including Clemson University (Only 9 miles away), incredible hiking/biking in the nearby Blue Ridge mountains, and great shopping, restaurants, wineries and breweries in downtown Seneca and Clemson.
Each of the 3 levels has its own full bathroom plus there are two separate living room areas to comfortably accommodate many guests.
The very large upstairs master bedroom loft has a king size bed, a full bathroom, a huge jacuzzi tub, and sweeping lake views. There is plenty of space for a portable crib or playpen if needed.
The main floor has a full kitchen that is fully stocked with any cooking items you may need including pots, pans, baking pans, crock pots, serving dishes, etc... There is also a large walk in pantry to tuck away all your vacation groceries. The enormous granite table is a centerpiece in the room and seats 8 people comfortably for dinners, games, or just hanging out. There is also a living room area, a large flat screen tv, a convenient 1/2 bath, a coffee bar, a large bedroom with 2 queen beds and a large en-suite bathroom which is perfect for lots of kiddos or 2 couples to stay comfortably. There is also a washer and dryer on this floor for your use.
The lower floor is perfect for entertaining with an awesome large wet bar, full size sofa, pool table that can be converted to a ping pong table, table for playing games, 58” smart tv with a Polk Audio sound bar and another full bedroom with queen size bed and another full bathroom. There is also a large open area next to the bar that can be used for a play pen, kids playing area, large air mattress (available upon request), or even a dance area!
You can use any of our beautiful community docks to fish or swim off from. In addition, we provide 2 kayaks, noodles, tubes and life vests for your use during your stay. There's nothing better than relaxing on our provided tubes and floating the afternoon away in our gorgeous, clear protected cove! Boat slip is included during the entire duration of your stay. We are happy to help you with contacts for boat or jet ski rentals very close by. If you wish to bring your own boat or jet ski, we are only 5 minutes from an easy deep water concrete public boat launch, War Path Landing. You can pull your boat in/out completely free and store your trailer free at night in our locked community boat lot.
On the main floor wrap around deck, there are many different entertaining spaces including an outdoor grilling area with large gas grill, a large table with a huge shade umbrella, a table for 2 directly on the water's edge, and a very large patio table with retractable cover so you can enjoy shade or sun....your choice! There are also many additional chairs and a 2 person cabana bed that is perfect for an afternoon book or nap for two. It's also the perfect spot for stargazing at night next to the water.
On the walkout downstairs patio you again have incredible lakefront views and direct access to the boardwalk and community dock. There is another large patio table, an outdoor sectional seating area, a hanging bench swing, a relaxing hammock for two, and an adorable outdoor play house for the little ones.
***VERY IMPORTANT: Our community is awesome and we absolutely love it! Most of the people there are super relaxed, friendly, and happy to be in ‘vacation mode’! However, we MUST be respectful of the other owners as the chalets are all close to each other. Please know that our Home Owner’s Association has recently implemented fees for loud noises outside after 11pm. Therefore, if you plan to have a party or wish to be loud after 11pm then this is not the right rental for you.***
****This close lake community of 30 chalets shares 2 parking lots. We have 2 deeded parking spots that come with the rental and there are several visitor parking spaces as well. Please know, the parking isn’t directly in front of the chalet. The walk from the parking lot to the chalet is approximately like parking in the middle of the Target parking lot and walking into the store. Therefore, it’s not a long or strenuous walk, but there are some stairs so if mobility is an issue this may not be the best rental option for you.
*****There are no fireworks allowed at any time within our gated community…this includes off any of the docks***

When you walk into your vacation house and your kids do a happy dance, you know you’ve picked the right one! Everything was clean, well supplied, and beautiful. The many carpenter bees on the patio were annoying but as they don’t sting it was just a nuisance. The kayaks, swimming, pool table, ping pong and jacuzzi tub made up for that irritation.

The location, lake and home was perfect for what we were looking for.The three level home was clean and fun. The master bedroom on the third floor was wonderful waking up to the window wall steering at the gorgeous Lake. The hosts answered my messages quickly. We drove into Clemson which was fun. While we were there we had dinner at Rick Erwin restaurant which was perfect. We also had dinner at the nearby Lighthouse Restaurant, which was also awesome and close. I would have easily given this review of five rating. The check-in process although easy to get through the door of the house, but the turning, winding road, finding the house and parking was challenging in the dark, being there for the first time. There weren't many lights in the parking lot or near the road you had to drive down to unload your car. All the door number were in black on a brown background. After the first time there was no problem. We happen to catch perfect weather for our few days. We love to eat out on the deck and watch the lake and boats. It seems, the Bumble carpenter bees came early this year. Even though we know they do not sting, they tend to hover near your face area and around the area where you're sitting and eating. Because there were dozens, it made eating outside a little uncomfortable. The host told us they treat for these bees but have not yet . So any other time of year you should be fine. Other than those two items, you will love this location and the lake is crystal clear.
