About this cabin rental
Secluded 3 story log cabin on Lake Keowee with one-of-a-kind lake and mountain views. Some say best on lake, with Bird's eye view of lake activities on this estate-like lot. Beautiful landscaping with rose garden and gorgeous year round sunsets from wrap around porch with Adirondack chairs, Lake views from almost every interior room. Lower level game room with pool table, dart board, jenga, corn hole, putt putt, badminton, poker set, telescope, and big screen TV to watch football games. Private Full sized covered dock for use with boat slip, jet ski ramp, patio seating area, and rip rap. Enjoy horseshoes, kayaks, paddle boarding, outdoor fire pit, fishing, and grill. Large bedrooms with queen beds and bunk beds to sleep 10 people comfortably. Fully equipped kitchen with Keurig coffee maker. This preserved nature area creates an intimate night time fishing spot, wildlife viewing, and cozy swimming hole during day. Ideal location in middle of lake - take a right out of cove and drive your boat up through the Blue Ridge mountains - a picturesque setting. Lighthouse restaurant is a short 10 min boat ride south, left out of cove (or 5 min drive). This location offers quick access to Clemson via back roads (15 mins). Closest boat put in is Warpath Landing directly across cove. Outdoor activities include hiking, fishing, and easy day trips to Cherokee, Cashiers, Highlands, Asheville, and Greenville - 45 mins away. This is a great property for Clemson events and weekend get-a-ways. Jet ski available to rent for experienced boaters. Ask about pontoon rental referral. We absolutely loved our stay at The Bass House! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a gem. The location is unbeatable, with a beautiful, clean lake that made for the perfect relaxing getaway.The house itself was spotless, incredibly comfortable, and stocked with everything we could possibly need. It was clear that a lot of thought and care went into making guests feel at home.The owner was fantastic—friendly, responsive, and communicative throughout the entire stay, making the whole experience seamless and stress-free.For the quality, location, and amenities, The Bass House is an outstanding value. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation rental and would absolutely stay here again. We highly recommend The Bass House to anyone looking for a perfect lakeside escape. Five stars all the way!

Well… we decided on “The Bass House” to be our home (away from home) to gather our adult “children” to celebrate a Clemson football weekend.Well… what a weekend of memories did we create!!The cabin style home is perfectly perched on a hill overlooking Lake Keowee in the gated community of Knots Landing.Plenty of space to enjoy… 3 floors including a fully stocked kitchen for the few meals that we prepared … multiple decks … a game room and fire pit on the lower level All this before you travel down to the dock and deck where you can share a story or coffee before you board your pontoon boat (we rented one for 1/2 a day) If you are looking for a place to gather family or friends and want all the comforts of home (beds were super comfortable) don’t miss out on The Bass House.Btw… Clemson won!!! Go Tigers

Our vacation was everything we could have hoped for. The location of the home was perfect as it is was located in a small quiet cove with a nice dock. There were kayaks, paddle boards, and a large floating mat to use for the 2 days we did not have a boat. The dock provided nice shade for lounging by the lake. The water was clear with a comfortable temp. I would recommend bringing some of your own beach type chairs as there are none available. There are chairs there but not the really the lounging kind. We rented a pontoon boat for 4 days from Keowee Boat Rentals LLC and we would highly recommend them and renting a pontoon boat. The dock has a nice covered slip for the boat. The house worked out fine. It had everything we needed to recuperate from full days on the lake. The kitchen was well stocked and nice views of the lake. The only thing that was a bit tricky were the steep steps down to the dock. There were many steps. However, full disclosure by the owner was shared that the steps would be slippery when wet and there was some kind of a rain storm almost every night. Tyler was pleasant and easy to communicate with and was helpful regarding the boat rental.We had a fantastic fun filled vacation on Lake Keowee and at the Bass House.
