The breakfast was continental style, but not a big selection, only one kind of cheese for exemple. The bed is comfortable, and the view from the balcony is interesting

On my second night there was a party downstairs in the bar until midnight. The noise was bothering me, but bearable. The cleaning however was super loud, so I went downstairs and asked them to stop. They still continued until 1 AM. Next they I asked for a new room on an upper floor, but they could not give me one, however, they promised to make the cleaning quieter. It was the same that night too.

Convenient and comfortable

It’s close to the train station. The bed was comfortable, there is also complimentary water in the refrigerator. There is a great view from the balcony. I really enjoyed the breakfast.

The shower didn’t seal properly so it leaked a bit but it wasn’t too bad. The restaurant downstairs plays loud music in the evenings but if you close the windows it blocks the noise sufficiently.

Comfortable hotel; very central.noisy late evening

A rather unprepossessing building externally but I had a surprisingly lovely bedroom, well fitted out with excellent views. Centrally situated and ideal for exploring Belluno. Pleasant reception and restaurant staff. Access to adjacent restaurant and bar and only a short walk to a large variety of other restaurants and bars in and near the city’s main square.

The hotel only has one lift serving five or six floors (including basements). However the most annoying thing about the place is the noise. I had a west-facing room with a wonderful view but it was also directly above the bar. As others have said, the music noise from the bar was considerable. On my second night, even with double glazing, it was like trying to sleep next door to a nightclub whose DJ was determined to ensure that I didn’t!

PERFECT in everyway - from staff to rooms to bed! Loved staying here!

The staff went above and beyond to welcome us. We arrived after doing the AV1 hike to find our room ready early and our bags in the room! We were also greeted with great energy and excitement! Would 100% recommend and will be back!

A great place to stay (when the AC is working).

The hotel itself was very nice, more of a small boutique hotel than a large property. The rooms are large, in some cases full suites. The rooms are nicely kept up, beautiful, right off of the main square in Belluno (i.e. easy to get to everything), and have great views. Coming into that experience after hiking AV1 was really nice - a bit of luxury after getting sweaty and nasty on the trails. Nice shower, and plenty of plugs. The staff was pleasant and they allowed us to check-in 2 hours early since the rooms were ready and I really appreciated the fact that they contacted us in advance to let us know about the AC problem and gave us options. The restaurant was decent - not a huge selection, but fairly affordable and tasty (although we had trouble getting the QR code menus to load, and they didn't have any hard copies for us to view). There's also an amazing gelateria next door in the building (Novecento) which is absolutely worth indulging in. Breakfast was included w/ our rooms; unlike the other places we stayed it wasn't a buffet, you had to order in advance the night before. I think they made some mistakes w/ our order, but in the end we were able to ask for the missing things and they brought them without charging us extra, so that was good. The breakfast was good, overall. I'd definitely come back again (if the AC was working or it was a cooler time of year :) ).

The AC was broken in the hotel, but they did inform us in advance and gave us the option to cancel the reservation and get a refund, and when we decided to stick it out, offered us a discount at the restaurant. (A discount off of the room rate would've been preferred, but I appreciated the heads-up and the gesture.) With the large glass windows/ doors opened, the room got a nice breeze and the temperature was manageable without the AC. However - the hotel restaurant has open air seating for part of it, was just a couple of floors down and had folks eating and drinking and talking loudly which made it hard to sleep with them open. Once the restaurant wound down and closed, we slept well.

Great staff and location, but I should have brought ear plugs.

The staff were fantastic, both at reception and in the breakfast room. The breakfast is something special as you can make your own choice from a generous list and the food and coffee served was simply wonderful and came with a smile from the whole team. Comfortable bed and and a marvellous view from both windows in my room. The hotel/bar terrace seems to be very popular and location is surely the best in town.

I was promised I would be informed when the spa would be available, as they were already booked upon arrival, but I was never informed, which was disappointing. The room was lovely, but the noise coming from the bar and corridor was extreme. I feel sorry writing this, but it did affect my stay.
