About this villa rental
The vacation home Villa de Carrida in Tías is the perfect accommodation for a stress-free holiday with your loved ones. The 80 m² property consists of a living room, a well-equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms (the master bedroom has en suite bathroom) and 2 bathrooms and can therefore accommodate 6 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi (suitable for video calls), air conditioning, a washing machine as well as a TV with English and Irish channels and a DVD player. A baby cot and a high chair are also available.
Your private outdoor area includes a pool (approximately 1-1.60m deep and 7x4m wide), a garden, a barbecue and an outdoor shower. The property also offers a small covered terrace with comfy chairs as well as an open terrace.
The vacation rental is situated on a quiet residential street in an upmarket part of Puerto del Carmen. The villa is close to the coastal path which provides a very pleasant and short walk down to the old town harbour. A supermarket, restaurants and bars can be reached within 5 minutes on foot.
Harbour: a 7-minute walk (500m) down the steps or an 8-minute walk (550m) down the walkway to the marina board-walk.
Beaches: Playa Chica, a 17-18-minute walk (1.4km).
Puerto Calero: 50 minutes to walk (4km).
There are also a golf course and a zoo nearby.
National Park: Timanfaya National Park, the natural wonder of Lanzarote, has a unique "Martian" landscape and rare plant species.
Restaurant El Diablo: a 30-minute drive (22km).
Water Park: Aqualava Water Park - a geothermally-heated water park a 30-minute drive away (25km).
Free parking is available on the street. Families with children are welcome. Pets are not allowed.
There are security cameras on the premises (only activated when the alarm is triggered - however, there is no audio or video recording).
Parties are strictly forbidden. All-female or all-male groups below the age of 30 are not admitted and hen or stag parties are not permitted. Youth groups are not admitted.
The pool is heated from November - April (if you would like it to be heated during summer, please advise the homeowner).
Beach/pool towels are provided.

We loved our stay at this villa we have stayed in a few villas now in the area this one had to be best for location, the villa was alot bigger that the pictures made it seem, enough seating everywhere, great tv package, only negatives about this property was the double bed in one of the rooms was so hard it was like concrete however this wasn't too much of an issue for us as there was only 4 of us so our teen daughter and son just shared the twin room, but if a party of 6 went this would be a problem. the only other slight issue was one of the bathrooms smelt of sewerage again we just shut the door and used the master bathroom. Even with these minor issues I would still return to this villa.

Pros: The property is well appointed and really well positioned. We liked the privacy around the pool, a well equipped kitchen and the mattress and pillows (often hard) was just right. We will be back !

Pros: Lovely Villa, excellent pool and outside area. The TV has loads of channels including being able to watch loads of football if that’s your thing.
The kitchen is well equipped and there are 2 nice bathrooms one of which has a huge rainforest shower.
The only thing I struggled with was the mattress as it was very firm !
Other than that the villa is in the best location in Puerto del Carmen.
Shame there were no blow ups for the pool
