ir-Remissa - Historic Home in Victoria Old Town

House was full of character, all the old touches have been incorporated in so well. The location was perfect. Snacks were a lovely touch. Host was super communicative and left helpful tips in the welcome book. WiFi was fast and reliable.

We came in a heatwave so the humidity was quite high but I can't fault the host for this, there were dehumidifiers everywhere.

The location of this property is fabulous . it is in the heart of the old town with easy access to everything in Victoria. The property is a classic Gozo buildings with a wonderful roof terrace but as with a traditional old building is also dark inside . This also means it is cool on a hot summers day. The property is very well equipped and it was a comfortable stay.

There is no access to the house by car and parking was a few minutes walk away. It is a small price to pay for the charm of being in a small characterful street . On entry there is a slight smell associated with stone buildings but the owner has fans etc in place and was never an issue again during our stay.

Magnifique, grand logement, un voyage dans le temps. Toutes les installations modernes dans une maison authentique qui a préservé le cachet médiéval original. Les éclairages, les bibelots, les meubles, les murs de pierre de calcaire etc., donne l’impression d’habiter dans un musée. Le logement est au cœur de la vieille ville sur une petite rue tranquille, très près des attractions, des commerces et des autobus. L’hôte a le souci de nous fournir des aliments de base tout en se souciant de nos préférences alimentaires. Bonne petite cafetière espresso. J’apprécie le bon café! Sommes restées que 2nuits, mais nous aurions volontiers prolongé notre séjour. On peut facilement rester dans ce grand logement historique, confortable et bien équipé, pour un séjour plus long.

Rien, sinon que nous avons eu un peu de difficulté à trouver le logement. Google maps ne trouvait pas le logement. Une gentille dame de Malte nous a indiqué l’endroit.
