Very nice location, clean and minimalist. The bed and room was very comfy. The owner is very nice and friendly.

Perhaps a bit pricey and lack of privacy due to the curtain is a bit transparent.

Lovely little property with helpful owners in great location for exploring

Nice clean property perfectly located and on sight secure parking

Shower head was not fixed to rail so showering was a challenge. Thin walls meant any noises from adjacent rooms were heard. Thankfully didn’t disturb our sleep.

My friend and I stayed for two nights. The room was very clean and well-prepared. The location is right in the center of Ohrid Bazaar. This is its best feature.

The old House in the heart of the Old Ohrid City

Positioned right in the centre of old Ohrid town, and with a room to park your car, this apartment was a walking distance to everything you want to see in this beautiful old city. Close to countless restaurants and cafes, and also a walking distance to the marina where many small and bigger boats are lined up and ready to take you to the many swimming places that Ohrid Lake is renowned for, even to take you as far as the St Naum monastery close to the Macedonian/Albanian border.

We didn't like visitors smoking at the balcony at the entrance of the house. That was a poor taste, and should be outlawed.

Perfectly located in the heart of Ohrid, with an easily reachable parking space, great for a short stay!

It’s good value for money, not much I didn’t like about it, I would perhaps opt for softer linens.

Great location!

The location is great, there was free parking available, the owner was friendly, and the room had everything we needed for a short stay.

The floor was dusty and there were quite a lot of hairs on it. The sound insulation is poor – whenever someone enters the house, it feels like they are coming into your room. The bed is comfortable, but it squeaks every time you move, even slightly.

Poor Soundproofing Noise from the corridor was clearly heard inside the room, which made it difficult to relax and get a good night’s sleep.

Clean and central, but could use a human touch

The room was nicely renovated, clean, and comfortable. There was a parking spot for our car out front, although it got quite tight with all of the guests' cars and with no one from the accommodationon site most of the time you're left to figure it out yourself. The location was quite central and easy to find just off of the main road.

There was no in person interaction with anyone from the accommodation until the end of our stay when we needed to pay. Some people may prefer this, but personally, I like actually speaking with someone face to face on arrival. All payments are done in cash, which could be inconvenient for some. The central location also means there's some loud traffic at night, which could bother some in the high season.

I would definitely come again next time

Excellent apartment. Very clean and modern. The location couldn't be better with private and secure parking. Everything is a few minutes away from the villa. The owners are pleasant and the communication is very fast.

Location on the main street in the very center. Close to shops, promenade and main attractions :) The place (OHRYDA) is worth recommending and visiting. The cruise should be the main point of the visit and then a walk through the historic part of the city and along the shore of the lake.

Friendly and central

Perfect location, walking distance both to the old city and lake and just a few steps to the area near the mosques with best restaurants. Free private parking at front of the building which is a big advantage in this location. Very friendly host - she even kindly washed our clothes in their washing machine when we couldn't find a functioning laundry in the town, saving us from a major headache. Our room was impeccably clean and functional. It has a small balcony and there is also a small porch at front good for having breakfast when our balcony was soaked in sun. Good reliable wifi.

Our stay in Mekadonka was amazing! The ownee was really helfpful. Location was awesome - close to promenade and the lake, but still it was really quiet in the room. Bed was really comfortable. Everything was perfect! I trully recommend staying in Mekadonka :)

There are no good blinds or curtains and you will have a problem if you want to sleep a little more because the room is very bright.
