Had a great time. Very relaxing week.

Almost everything. Very clean and well maintained. Kevin had left cakes fruit and milk for us arriving, which was a nice touch. House was spotless on our arrival. Photos of property on Booking.,com don't do it justice. The property is very easy for someone in a wheelchair to access, particularly with the bedroom and ensuite downstairs. Lots of room to manoeuvre the wheelchair in kitchen. Double doors into living room from kitchen also great for wheelchair user. Lots of room to park the wheelchair too.

Squeaky floorboards upstairs. Water flow was quite slow. Basin slow to empty in main bathroom. Same with the shower draining in ensuite downstairs

A great stay and fond memories.

Everything, comfortable warm clean, kids loved feeding the animals, the location was quite and peaceful. Within an hour and a half of all the main attractions clare has to offer. Also the ferry port across the shannon was only a 10-minute drive so kerry was easily accessible. I'd like to keep this place secret as the more people that learn about it..the harder it will be to get a booking. Kevin was a total gentleman and very helpful. I will be returning here when visiting clare again.

Everything was with the best intentions and to the best standards.

Everything was very nice. The host was very nice and responsive. Answered all the questions that arose during the visit. There were treats and a folder with important and useful information left in the cottage. The house had everything we needed. We only bought some little things ourselves. We felt at home. We would definitely like to come back. We are grateful for how well the host had created a description of the cottage on booking.com so that we could make the right choice and be happy with it! Although the cottage and the surroundings looked and felt much better in real life than in the pictures :):):)

A little piece of heaven

the location of the house is very good, you are in Kilrush in no time, there are shops, petrol stations, pharmacy and takeaways right on site - 5 min drive max. you are not far from beautiful destinations, apart from the super nice road trips which are very scenic. The house itself is in a lovely quiet location, the house and its surroundings are a gem. A little piece of heaven that Kevin has created there. The kitchen is superbly equipped, the beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms spotlessly clean. We felt absolutely comfortable and at home in this house for 9 days. it really is a little piece of heaven that takes you away from everyday life. The mini ponies, the horse, the donkeys and the goats... It was simply a dream. If we could have, we would have stayed even longer <3

Exceptional

It was convenient for us to visit family in the area. Also convenient to Shannon Airport. Kevin and his family were really helpful and are a lovely family. We were there for a family occasion and Joe's cottage was ideal for us and very comfortable as well as being in a lovely setting. It is near to the local town and supermarkets. We would have no hesitation in staying there again and highly recommending Joe's Cottage as a holiday destination in beautiful Country Clare.

The weather wasn't great but we still enjoyed our stay.

Exceeded expectations and we’d love to come back.

Joe’s cottage is a fine house. Its modern, spacious and has all the things you’d look for. Kevin was a most gracious host. Upon arrival we were treated to the most delicious chocolate buns and fresh fruit. There was milk and water in the fridge as well as tea and coffee. Kevin showed us his ponies and goats and the kids had a ball petting and feeding them. Kevin couldn’t have been nicer throughout and aside from the wonderful house itself, the location is ideal for exploring west Clare. I’d happily recommend.

Exceptional

The house was lovely, clean and spacious, everything was nice a bright and modern, couldnt fault it. I thought the house looked better in person than it does in the pictures. Met the host, Kevin and his father Tom, both lovely chatty people that helped us out with any questions we had Would definitely stay here again, 10/10

Only bad thing I would say is my bed wasnt really comfy, but I got over that for the few nights I was there

A lovely stay in a fine house with all the mod cons required, along with excellent hosts.

The house is a fine big modern build with all the mod cons required. Three bathrooms, main upstairs, an ensuite downstairs and also one in the utility room. everything you would need was there. The hosts could not have been more helpful. A very enjoyable weekend.

The host Kevin and daughter Mary were brilliant, so much more than advertised.

It was all round a lovely property, house is beautiful inside and out. The kids got to look after 2 goats and a pony which they loved an was a lovely surprise as it wasn't advertised, we were also aloud to add a pool to the garden when we asked so absolutely loved the place, will be back for sure.

Don't think we there was anything we would change, the property the location and the host family were all great.

Super herrliche Unterkunft. Kevin ist sehr Herzlich und der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Es fehlte an nichts, In der Küche stand Obst und selbstgemachte Muffins für uns. Die Unterkunft hat im Erdgeschoss 1 Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und eigenem Bad Die offene Küche -das Wohnzimmer, ein Vorraum mit einer Toilette. Im Obergeschoss befinden sich 1 Doppelzimmer und 1 Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten dazu ein Bad mit Dusche und Badewanne. Alles sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet. Jede menge Platz im ganzen Haus. Pferde Esel und Ziegen und ein großer Parkplatz runden diese Unterkunft perfekt ab. Wir können Joes Cottage zu 1000% weiterempfehlen und jeder Zeit wieder Buchen.
