Fantastic property on the top of a mountain with magnificent views

Fantastic property on the top of a mountain with views over the surrounding peaks all the way to Bosnia. Magical sunsets and wildlife visitors. Nothing was too hard for our host Radoje who prepared tasty breakfast made from locally sourced delicacies. Peaceful and quiet surroundings with attentive host.

Loved every minute

The place was amazing! We loved everything there. The view was stunning, we watched the sunset on the terrace with all the family and did a little hike around the place. The owner and his family are very warm and nice people. The breakfast also was superb tasty and homemade!Sooo delicious! Definitely recomend this place

Wonderful place

Amazing place in the Serbian mountains. The house is beautiful and placed on top of a mountain with the most beautiful views. SUCH a cozy place and the owner cooked us some amazing food in a small woodfired cabin next to the big house. Would recommend anytime.

Excellent host and delicious traditional Serbian breakfasts.

Access to property is via a step unpaved driveway from the main road. The host informs you about this as soon as you book but be warned that it's a tricky drive up. This is the only reason I didn't rate it a ten.

Charming Cottage with Exceptional Hosts

The cottage was absolutely delightful, and the hosts were incredibly lovely. We had the pleasure of staying there for one night and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. It was a peaceful retreat nestled in the mountains, surrounded by serene and tranquil surroundings. I highly recommend indulging in the dinner they offer; the locally made cuisine was exceptionally delicious and left a lasting impression on us. Also the beds were really comfortable, and the communication with the owners beforehand was seamless.

A great experience, not just a place to stay! Loved it!

We enjoyed everything, the location is the right place for nature and birds lovers, the owners are friendly and they cooked homemade food for us. Amazing view, quiet, clean, campfire in the eveing. For the ones who like birdwatching: today I identified 9 different birds species. Super!

One of the best places in Serbia!

- Host is exceptionally kind and ready to help at any time! - Nature is breathtaking around the house - There can be a dinner for extra price - definitely must have! Both mix of meat and fish dish were really great! - For a hiking lovers there are a lot of routes nearby - Internet from local operator Yettel has give 40 Mb\s speed, which is pretty decent even for work activities. - Sunset was astonishing!

Nothing really serious and almost don't make any difference: - Not finished buildings around the house were a bit of a distraction - Be prepared for a steep road for a last 400 meters, better to take some car that can handle light offroad

A wonderful getaway home

The host is wonderful, very kind, and hospitable. I liked the location, which is remote and quiet but perfect for trips around Tara National Park. The view from the house is breathtaking! I also recommend having dinner prepared by the host and made of local ingredients. I would definitely visit again :)

This house is absolutely amazing! It definitely exceeded my expectations. To be in quiet surrounded by beautiful nature was so relaxing. Also having our breakfasts in a beautiful cottage was such a nice thing!

We had truly outstanding time at this appatment. The location is great - directly in the heart of the mountains, but still relatively well accessible by car. Owners were very kind and helpful. It's a perfect retreat from busy life - just hope we could stay longer.

Last 300-400m of the road is quite steap and not paved with asfalt, but still manageable with regular car. Not a major issue though.

Perfect rest in nature

Everything was perfect, starting from the apartment, view, location, and hosts. It was just what we needed. I recommend the accommodation for people looking for true rest in nature, but there are also a lot of hiking options available. The hosts were super helpful, sweet, and quiet, provided us with literary everything we needed, and breakfast was homemade and so tasteful. Perfect stay!

The best view, The best breakfast, The getaway

The property was amazing! The house was pretty and clean, the bed was super comfortable. The view is one of a million. honestly the most beautiful sky we watched every night. Also a high light were the breakfasts… Every morning something different; Home cooked pancakes, Barek and bread. The family is also super attentive. With little English they were still super helpful with directions and tips. We also got a lift, whenever we needed to somewhere which was so nice. Best getaway!!

How did I experience my weekend getaway? … far from the world, in the woods, in a wooden house, with a book in one hand and a glass of red wine in the other, with the sound of birds and a gentle breeze, I became free and calm. Thank you wonderful hosts for all tips for places with the most beautiful viewpoints and places for collecting petrified shells, mushrooms and tea plants. It was a great pleasure to recharge the batteries in this place, see you again! 👋🏻

The accommodation is AMAZING! Wooden construction, clean air and water, homemade food, peace and nature all around us... Ideal place for couples and families. If you are a fan of active vacation - there are many lookouts and hiking trails (the hosts are so friendly and helpful, so you can ask them whatever you are interested in). On the other side, if you prefer passive vacation more - this place is made for good book and glass of wine, while watching the Sunset and listening to the forest sounds outdoor. Big recommendation!

Odmor za dušu i telo!

Reči su suvišne! Domaćin gospodin Radoje je pravi primer gostoprimstva. Ljubazan, nenametljiv i uvek na raspolaganju. Retko ostavljam komentare, ali ovde sam morao, jer je iskustvo prevazišlo sva očekivanja. Kolibica je ušuškana, izdvojena, sa prelepim pogledom i onim što se danas najviše ceni, potpunim mirom i tišinom. Topla preporuka svima, a mi se sigurno vraćamo ponovo!

Savršeno mesto za odmor!!!

Ovaj smeštaj je pravo mesto za one koji žele da pobegnu od svakodnevne buke i zaista se odmore. Kuća je okružena borovom šumom, daleko od bučnih šetališta, prodavnica, kafića i restorana – savršen mir i tišina. Ceo enterijer ima rustični šarm, izrađen je u potpunosti od drveta, a čistoća je na izuzetno visokom nivou. Domaćini su posebna priča – neverovatno ljubazni, srdačni i gostoljubivi ljudi, koji zaista učine da se osećaš kao kod kuće. Hrana je domaća, raznovrsna i obilna, a posebno nas je oduševilo što voda nije bljutava gradska, već izvorska. Uživanje upotpunjuje i to što nema dosadnih komaraca i muva, vrućine i gužve. Umesto toga, gosti mogu da se opuste uz čist planinski vazduh, šetnje kroz šumu ili jednostavno da se zavale na ogromnoj terasi i uživaju u prelepom pogledu. Ako vam je potrebno mesto gde ćete se zaista odmoriti i napuniti baterije, na pravom ste mestu.

Absolute Ruhe auf dem Berg.

Super Berghütte, toller Blick in den Sonnenuntergang, Abendbrot auf Bestellung hausgemacht, super Frühstück (lokale Art), ausgesprochen nette Besitzer. Hinter dem Haus geht ein kleiner Weg Richtung Berg, in 20min steht man auf ca. 1500m. Absolute Ruhe. Achtung: Zufahrt ist ein ausgewaschener steiler Schotterweg mit engen Kurven, 4x4 und etwas Geländeerfahrung unbedingt erforderlich (normale Bodenfreiheit und Straßenbereifung sind aber ausreichend)! Andernfalls lässt man das Auto nach Absprache unten stehen (es gibt wohl eine Garage) und wird mit dem Geländewagen abgeholt.

Miejsce niepowtarzalne! Gorąco polecamy.

Cudowna lokalizacja w górach na wysokości 1450mnpm. Z parkingu gdzie zostawiliśmy samochód, gospodarz dowiózł nas pod dom samochodem terenowym. ( jeśli podróżujecie samochodem terenowym, dojedziecie sami). W czasie naszej podróży było b. chłodno, ale cały budynek był ogrzewany. Widok z okna na góry ciągnące się po horyzont. W pokoju i łazience bardzo czysto. Sypialnia na antresoli.Tak wygodnego łóżka nie mam nawet w domu! Gospodarz Radoje, mieszka na parterze domu i w każdej chwili służy pomocą. Do dyspozycji gości sauna fińska, taras z fotelikami. I teraz clou naszego pobytu! Śniadania i kolacje podawane w domku z kominkiem( zawsze palącym się). Wszystkie potrawy wykonane przez gospodarza!! Przepyszne wędzone na miejscu wędliny, sery z kajmakiem na czele, domowe dżemy i na bieżąco smażone, jeszcze gorące pączki (ale nie słodkie, to rodzaj pieczywa), a także gorący burek z mięsem i cebulą. Do tego świeże mleko (nie UHT!) i źródlana woda. Nawet tylko dla tych serbskich smakołyków warto tam przyjechać!!! Hvala Radoje!

Priroda, apsolutni mir i tišina daleko od gužve. Domaćin je bio izuzetno ljubazan i predusretljiv, a obilni obroci primer vrhunske domaće hrane. Supruga i ja ćemo se sigurno vratiti i preporučiti ovaj smeštaj svima kojima je potreban vikend detoks od grada.

Kućica je bila predivna, topla i udobna. Pogled na sneg je jele je neprocenjiv. Najvise smo se odusevilo domacinskim doruckom, nigde nismo tako lepo jeli.

Хотелось бы сказать много тёплых слов об этом замечательном месте! Расположение прекрасное, от красоты вокруг захватывает дух. Достопримечательности Тары находятся вблизи. Номера тёплые, очень уютные, есть всё необходимое для комфортного проживания. Из-под крана течёт вкуснейшая родниковая питьевая вода. Отдельное спасибо владельцам Радое, Анджеле и Никше за их доброту, гостеприимство и великолепную еду!
