The room was neat and inviting, with excellent WiFi. The only small area for improvement would be the cutlery drawer in the kitchen. Ranzi was very welcoming, and when an issue came up, I reached out to both the owners and Ranzi. Communication was clear, and the matter was handled promptly and professionally.

Finding the location was a bit challenging. Although the address was listed on Booking.com, when I copied it into WAZE, it redirected us to a completely different spot in Palapye Extension 11. There is a painted sign indicating a right turn, but on the map the nearby left-hand road (about 200m from the house) doesn’t appear—likely why we missed it and ended up elsewhere. Clearer signage would definitely help. We also weren’t expecting to arrive at a construction site. The room we booked is situated in the backyard of the house, which is still under construction (something I also noticed mentioned in a review from April 2023). It would have been helpful to know this upfront when making the booking. A last note was even though we were leaving at 6am, we were woken up by the noise created by gentleman who was painting the main house who started his work at 4am..

Dear Pel, it was very difficult to find your house- I trust that the following is constructive to allow you to get more guests: Our only concern was the accessability: The link for equivalent of Google Maps on the bookings.com email did not work. It took almost an hour to find with a few long telehone calls your family named representatives eventually answered our calls as directions were unclear: You really need to erect signs at the turn off from the tar road and at the turns on the twisty and narrow dirt track to the room on your securely fenced plot - or at least measure the distances from landmarks/ junctions (and definitely publish on your website to guests that the turn off the main A1 is labelled “extension 11”.) That will make your place much easier to find While the room was comfortable, the guest wing is all that is built - there is no main house built yet so while the room is on a stand in the area Palapye extension 11, it was unnerving to my wife to feel isolated due to the 15 minute distance drive outside of Palapye after the railway crossing: Please also add in your welcome brochure details of Palapye taxi service phone number so that future guests can organize transport easily. As I was going to work every day and my wife was staying in a “guest wing”, the assumption from the website was that your room was in a developed area where she could at least walk to nearby shop.
