Cottage next Svihov castle

We were absolutely delighted. The apartment - a half of a duplex house - together with garden and private parking place is completely for the sole use of guests, i.e. us. The garden was large enough for our dogs to roam, there is a nice garden table and a ready to use barbecue set. The apartment is spacious, 6 beds (two of them are double) distributed among 3 bedrooms (and 2 floors :) ), so it can easily host a whole big family. Both floors have nice balconies, and top floor has ceiling windows so you can watch the stars when you go to sleep. The kitchen is fully supplied with all kinds of utensils, glassware, dishes. It has a fridge with freezer, there is a dishwasher, oven and stove. There is also an electric kettle and coffee machine which run on Tchibo capsules (fully supplied). The bathroom contains a shower and a bathing tub. In the living room there are two very comfortable chairs and a sofa surrounding a table big enough to play most of the boardgames. The view is two fold - some of the windows are open to garden, others to a large field ending with Svihov castle (5 minutes walk). The apartment was spotless clean and frankly - too cheap for the offered value. If possible, we would like very much to return here for our next vacation.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in Svihov. Das Ferienhaus überzeugt mit seinem urigen Charm und vielen künstlerischen Elementen im ganzen Haus! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war die perfekte Auszeit für ein langes Wochenende..unsere Kinder haben den großzügigen Garten sehr genossen!

Eigentlich gibt es nichts zu beanstanden. Eine Sache würden wir vielleicht modernisieren. Und zwar wären das die Bettdecken und Kissen. Die schweren Bettdecken aus den 70ern sind zwar passend zum Ambiente des Hauses, aber wir empfanden diese als austauschwürdig.
