What a special place - really nice for the 2 of us.
We enjoyed everything, and the hosts were super accommodating. A little difficult to find in the dark, but we drove to it with a little help

What’s not to love? This place is magical and straight out of a fairy tale. Beautiful countryside views and views of the city of Montepulciano. Big and comfortable room. Lovely shower. Breakfast and dinners to die for. Nathalie and Igor along with the other workers were all fantastic. Wonderful selection of wine and the hot tub was awesome if you’re there in season. Just a perfect stay, especially after being in the big cities to get away from so many people for a bit.

A Bucket-List Stay That Takes Your Breath Away – Stelle di Monte, Castellina, Italy
Staying at Stella di Monte in Montepulciano this October was truly a bucket-list experience — one that we’ll never forget. From the moment we arrived, we knew this was a five-star deluxe property in every sense of the word.
The attention to detail, craftsmanship, and love poured into every corner of the property are simply breathtaking. You can feel the passion of the owners in how they’ve revived and breathed new life into this stunning place. Every stone, every view, every design choice feels intentional and filled with heart.
The views are spectacular — sweeping Tuscan landscapes, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, and on clear days, you can even see Montepulciano from several seating areas throughout the grounds. It’s the kind of beauty that stops you in your tracks.
Breakfast was a highlight — made-to-order and delicious, served with warmth and care. The owners’ hospitality was second to none: always available, never intrusive, and genuinely invested in making sure every guest has an unforgettable stay. Their recommendations were spot-on, and the dinner offered exclusively to guests is something you simply must not miss — it was spectacular.
We were fortunate to stay in two different rooms, each beautifully appointed, showcasing the same thoughtful design and comfort. If you have the chance, don’t miss the jacuzzi — the views from there are something out of a dream.
We also loved the honesty bar, a charming touch that made us feel right at home. We arrived a bit early and enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine while sitting outside, soaking in the views and the anticipation of what was to come.
Everything about Stelle di Monte feels magical — refined yet welcoming, luxurious yet deeply personal. I rarely repeat vacations, but this is one place I would gladly return to.
Stelle di Monte is not just a stay — it’s an experience for the soul.
