Walpole Bay Hotel

Lovely staff, great breakfast, good facilities and clean.

Liked everything. Only minor things that could be improved were that the toilet was a bit difficult to flush and the shower was a bit erratic

The location is excellent being only a short walk to the towns many restaurants.

Breakfast was a buffet affair that could have been better.

Quirky, good location and fantastic staff. We travel a lot, but never been surrounded by exceptional staff as the ones that work at this hotel.

Smell of old people as soon as you walk into the reception, that was pretty awful. In the morning the whole hotel smell of breakfast. Would be great to have some ventilation there ie just open the door to the reception. Impossible to mix water in the shower, sink tap hardly any water coming out. Bed super noisy. AND NO AIR CONDITIONING, that is just a disaster in this weather. Surely the hotel can afford to purchase at least 2 AC units per year until they have enough for each room. That is quite shocking. We’ve had the worst night ever and left immediately after breakfast. Couldn’t wait to get out of there and get to our cold car.
