THINGS TO KNOW
Due to the windy roads and inclines we recommend not bringing a boat/trailer to the house. Small boats may work and can be stored in the driveway or grassy area at the end of the road.
Sleeps 11-12 (beds for 10 plus a sleeper sofa fit for 2 youth or 1 adult).
The fireplace has seasonal availability from October 1 through May 1.
No smoking or vaping on the property.
No pets are allowed.

The view from the patio is spiritual. We miss this place already. Perfectly appointed home with so much to do. Kitchen and laundry room feel like home. Master suite is lovely, and the mattress is quite comfortable. When you leave a place and immediately begin to research properties in the area, you know it’s a winner.
Location is great with easy access to Hickory Star & Beach Island marinas, and Big Ridge Park. A newly renovated Food City grocery store with a Starbucks is nearby. We rented a pontoon and had such a great time exploring the lake, that we decided to go back for a beach day at the park where the kids went hiking to a bridge nearby. There is live music all weekend at the Beach Island Boathouse and other resort marinas, such as Lone Mountain, if you are willing to make the drive.

House was nice but did not have lake access. The advertisement was a bit confusing eluding that there was a private covered slip - the slip is about a 7 minute drive. The reservation at the Marina was not made, although I verified with VRBO twice before arriving that it was. The Cedar Grove Marina team was top notch and took great care of us and our boat! There was quite a bit of dog hair and bugs in the window sills downstairs. Also the walkout basement smells strongly of mildew.
