Three fireplaces both inside and outside on the upper porch help create a rustic comfort with a view of both the mountains and prestine Norris Lake. Cedar Grove Marina is just five minutes away with ample watercraft rentals.
The main level, loft and second level are accessible to guests along with the two entire levels of wrap around porches. Stone throughout the cabin with hand hewn logs makes the indoor and outdoor fireplace , Amish rocking chairs and leather couch even more inviting.

The mountain view was amazing! The cabin was spacious and absolutely beautiful! The host Russ was so helpful by letting us know about the area and the must see spots.. It was a pleasure talking with him and learning about the history of his cabin.We would definitely stay there again! :)

The biggest issue we had was the bottom level of the house was still under construction and we were not aware of that when we booked.
The owner of the house asked to come over to pick up tools while we were away at a hike which we thought was a little awkward.
There was no door to the lower level so we had to make sure the children didn't sneak down there where power tools were plugged in.
Cold air was rushing up to the upper level from the lower as well.
The fire places are propane as well which I didn't like the one in the living room kept cutting on and off which was a little sketchy.
Overall it was a beautiful cabin in a beautiful location but I wouldn't book again.
