The property was outside Naples near Torre Del Greco, not far from Herculaneum and Pompeii. There was plenty of hot water and the air conditioning worked great. The kitchen was easy to use. The apartment was near a supermarket, many restaurants and cafes, as well as an easy walk to two train stations (main rail and circumvesuvio). Beds were comfortable.

The hosts were very bad at communicating with us. They did not respond to messages we sent to the property, and the phone number for the property was never answered. They insisted on meeting us at the property, which was ok, but they waited inside the apartment, not outside. We did not have the specific address for the apartment so we did not know which specific floor it was on, and there was no buzzer for it. We waited outside on the street while vainly attempting to email, booking app message, and phone the property contacts, but got no answers. After two hours we finally noticed a message from an unknown telephone number in WhatsApp. It was not the phone number listed for the property, and not the number we had been calling for almost two hours. The property never emailed or messaged us that they would be trying to contact us via whatsapp. We almost gave up at midnight. Lots of little details in the apartment showed the owners don't really care - almost no toilet paper, no paper towels, no coffee pods for the espresso machine. The electric kettle was broken. The decorations are interesting, but profanity was a common theme, so you might not want to have younger children stay there.

This property was very central above a very lively street with the train station being only 10 mins walk away. The property gave you a feel of living like the locals as there were very few tourists. There were lots of steps up to the property as you would not use the lift, so your step counts were kept up! We were given tokens for the breakfast down the road. This was a good place (the token didn't cover the breakfast cost and we liked to mix up where we went so didn't use them every day).

The third bedroom was not really a third bedroom - a mezzanine with hard cushions on the floor and a privacy barrier. The kitchen had a few limitations such as only one sharp knife and the where-with-all to clean the property as we went was limited (brush, cleaning products, cloths unavailable). The ensuite shower room really smelt of drains when we arrived. The toilet seat of the bathroom of the ensuite with a bath was freestanding. Finally, no information booklets or guidance on instructions, such as using the air conditioning and heating so as not to fuse the appartment. These are just little things but details do make a difference.

The house is beautiful, great taste and well curated in all the details. full furnished. amazing located!
