Summary:
Come stay at the TxStar Haus, a charming farmhouse in the historic district, just 4 blocks from the center of town and the Marktplatz. The home, built in the 1940s, has been completely remodeled with new furniture, fresh paint, refinished hardwood floors, and an updated bathroom. It has a sizeable, fully stocked kitchen with all new appliances. The home has TVs in the living room and bedrooms. Sleeps 4 people comfortably, but can sleep 6 with a sleeper sofa.
The Space:
The large backyard deck offers a great place to relax while watching birds and deer in the morning or evening after a day of shopping in town or touring the many wineries and breweries in the area. A new game room out back welcomes you to some foosball or your choice of board games while watching your favorite TV show or movie. There are also outdoor games to enjoy: corn hole, bocce ball, and croquet. Additionally, there are open areas on the property to enjoy picnics in the shade, see the stars at night. Come stay at this awesome home in the heart of Fredericksburg!

The optional damage waiver is $59.99 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $1.5 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.

3. Our team is committed to assisting you, though occasional check-in delays may occur during peak periods.
4. WiFi is available in all homes, but uninterrupted service is not guaranteed. No refunds or rate adjustments will be made for mechanical failures, or discontinued or interrupted services that occur during your stay.
5. A $500 fine will be imposed for any evidence of smoking, confetti, vomit residues, or glitter.
6. Set the A/C no lower than 72 degrees to prevent freezing and system issues; no refunds for low-temperature-related A/C problems.
We will provide a two-day supply of start-up sundries, including dish soap, sponge, paper towels, toilet paper, bath soap, shampoo, conditioner, and hand lotion. Guests will need to purchase additional items from a local store or bring them with them. Missing supplies must be reported to our Customer Hospitality team within one hour of arrival.
8. Pets are allowed only in designated pet-friendly units, subject to an extra fee in addition to the nightly rate. Please verify whether pets are permitted in the unit you intend to rent. In the event that a pet is discovered in a non-pet-friendly unit, the guest grants Stay Texas authorization to levy a minimum additional cleaning fee of $500.
9. Bugs are common in the Texas Hill Country; pest control is in place on a regular basis, but some insects are inevitable.
10. In Texas, there are periods of time without significant rainfall causing the county to place a ban on burning. Please check the current burn ban status, before using the fire pit at your vacation rental. Check the amenities to see if this rental is equipped with a fire pit.
11. Please observe Fredericksburg’s Quiet Hours (10 p.m. to 7 a.m.)
12. The City of Fredericksburg is an international Dark Sky Community. To protect the dark skies, please turn off outdoor lighting when not in use.
13. Only utilize the designated on-site and off-site parking spaces at your rental.
14. For any issues during your stay, a 72-hour window after check-out is provided to file a claim. Note that refunds won't be issued for claims submitted after this period. We appreciate your cooperation.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming property for a weekend getaway, and it exceeded all expectations. The house, while renovated, beautifully preserved its historical charm, offering a perfect balance of modern amenities and classic character. Its proximity to Main Street and HEB made it incredibly convenient for shopping and dining.
The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, providing a relaxing retreat. One of the highlights of our stay was spotting deer in the lot next door—a special touch that made the experience even more memorable.
The check-in process was seamless, and the property management company provided excellent communication throughout our stay, including clear instructions for both check-in and check-out. Overall, this property was an ideal choice for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway, and I would highly recommend it!
