Beach House

The house was big, but very dirty. Had to clean up after mice droppings on kitchen counters. Some windows were unable to open and some windows had no screens. However there were some windows that did. Trash cans were overflowing. It was suppose to be pet friendly, however, the yard was awful. Weeds over 2 feet tall and burrs that would attach to the dogs. Originally had plans of additional family joining, however they had small infants that I did not want to have to deal with the uncleanliness or the fact that we couldn’t open the windows in the larger living room or bed with trundle. The owners did refund 115. 00 of the over 200. Cleaning fee. I will be contacting VRBO for additional refund . If you’re looking for a place to stay that you want to clean, this might be an option. I would not recommend! I have pics if they will allow me to post.

It was perfect for us. Close to downtown and the beach. The tub drains very slowly and most of the chairs are broken. We didn’t hang out at the house much

We enjoyed our stay at Pismo Beach and Satay's house. The house was perfect for us. The only minor issue was the water taking an hour to drain from the hall shower. Satay was very responsive & we would stay again when visiting Pismo Beach.

I cannot recommend this property. It needs some serious maintenance! A broken chair in the dining room, bathtubs that don’t drain, stove top that won’t light without a match, and to top it all off their were mouse turds on the trundle bed mattress. It would also be a good idea to clean the ceiling fans once in awhile.

Our first time visiting Pismo Beach. This home is centrally located, within walking distance to the beach and all eateries nearby. Home is a little dated but very spacious with the basic cooking supplies we needed for our family. Kids enjoyed the foosball and hockey table game. Would mind staying here again for our next visit.

Upon arrival I had to message the owner to find out how to enter the building. Upon arrival there were weeds and trash in the grass. The security door was not closed or working properly and someone’s dirty shoes were left outside. The carpet was filthy filled with stains throughout. Spider webs on windows, fan with large layer of dust, fan in master shakes almost off the ceiling, no light cover in the shower just exposed electrical and it didn’t work. The water was not functioning so cold showers were taken and the owner ghosted me for 15 hours. The windows were dirty. Lint and dryer sheets on the floor in the laundry room. Owner asked us to light the pilot light to get the water heater working. It never worked the entire time we were there. I asked to send someone and he did not respond. Stated it slept 10 only beds for 6. Asked for reimbursement and received the cleaning fee and a little more for a total of 385 when I paid 1400. Told me VRBO takes a lot of profit and that was all he could spare. He did apologize profusely in emails but when I asked if I could send all the pics I took so he could see the conditions for himself he did not seem interested in seeing them. Seems as if the heater was on the entire time we were there we had all the doors and windows open and it was cooler outside then inside.

Me and my family really enjoyed staying here. We rented Thursday- Sunday and we had no problems. The hockey table was the most fun. It has everything you need for a nice family vacation. You don't even need to worry about keys the door unlocks with a code.

Great location! Clean and comfortable home. Walking distance to everything in downtown Pismo, literally one block to ocean overlook at the end of the street, two blocks to the stairs to get on the beach, four blocks to downtown Pismo. Some ocean views from the living room. Carpets in the entry area needs some attention and the outside space need some TLC but overall we enjoyed our stay and will definitely book our next stay there.

We had a great time staying at this property. You can easily walk to the beach and the hot spots like the pier, Splash Cafe and Brads. For the price, you can’t beat it! We were in town for some off roading and originally planned on renting hotel rooms. This home saved everyone money and provided a huge area to park our trucks, which would have been too big for a hotel parking lot. You can easily park 5+ cars here. The photos do show that it’s an older home, which we expected and have no problem with. Our only complaints are that the carpet is stained in a lot of places. I think it could be fixed with a good carpet clean. The remotes and TVs are not set up correctly and some were missing batteries. So bring a fire stick or something similar for your own entertainment. Regardless of these inconveniences, we will rent this house again when visiting Pismo in the future.

We had a hard time getting in and it took almost two hours to get a hold of our host but once we got in we loved the property. The cameras inside were a little sketchy, but I don’t think they were on? Hopefully! The house itself was dated but we enjoyed the charm. The stove didn’t work but we were fine without it. The kids loved the game room and the beds were beyond comfortable!!!!!!! We enjoyed the space and Overall we would stay again but feel they could do better with the few things mentioned.

The check in process took longer than anticipated. House is a little outdated, but it’s a good size home with plenty of space. Love the location.

Awesome house and close to the beach!

The house has very spacious common areas. Very clean with nice kitchen. The 2 bedrooms were good size and very nice. Foos ball and air hockey table were a big hit with the family. Location is amazing and can't get any better. The room next to the laundry needs some upgrades. Bathrooms need upgrades. One of the Bathrooms had no shower at all and the bathroom doors don't latch well from inside.

We had to rewash every dish that we used, and there were some questionable stains on the beds. We also did not have enough beds for the whole family. There are beds for 6 people.

Very nice family weekend at Pismo Beach. The rental property was fabulous great location very spacious great place for families to spread out and enjoy family time together

Mid Century vintage home is near the beach, pier and shops/restaurants. The location is the highlight of this property. The home is spacious with plenty of room for our family to lounge, study and work. It has peek-a-boo views of the ocean. Just one block to an ocean overlook and 2.5 blocks to the stairs that lead down to the beach. Plenty of parking for our vehicles. Once parked, we never had to drive again. We walked to the market, pier, beach, shops, restaurants, and Old West Cinnamon Rolls (only a block away!). The entrance to the Pismo Preserve is less than 1 mile away. We could see the hikers on the Preserve from the large picture window in the living room. PCH runs along one side of the property; it's pretty quiet at night though. It was fun to watch the cars lining up searching for hard-to-find parking, during the day. The Owner responded quickly to messages and questions. The beds were comfortable and all 3 toilets worked fine during our visit. Since it is on older property, it could benefit from some upgrades. However, the location, layout and space makes it a place my family would stay again. Thank you for a relaxing stay.

Host impossible to get a hold of.. Toilet in main restroom stopped up stayed that way for 2 days. No air-conditioning and half of the ceiling fans didn't work. Carpets stained throughout. Cobwebs on windows and doors. Asked host for partial refund or an extra day, no to both. Usually have a awesome experience with VRBO but this was a nightmare for the entire family. 5 adults and 2 kids. If you are a bunch of frat boys looking for a place to party and crash this is for you, if you are a family I don't recommend. Beds also awful.
