The animals and views from the room.

The surrounding areas of the farm are old and in disrepair. Children must be supervised at all times. One of the rooms we reserved was found upon arrival that it couldn’t be locked. This meant the family we travelled with decided not to stay. The owner handled this by listing their side of the party as a no show.

It’s an old farm so you expect some character- but needs maintaining, too many delapidated features going beyond rustic

Great location, lots of local beers, friendly staff, lots of animals to pet for my daughter

Unfortunately on arrival it looked like the room had not been checked and towels missing etc this was sorted tho , we were then shown around the room and pointed out the quirks ie toilet cistern missing but shown how to manually lifting the stopcock, then unfortunately there was a lack of water pressure so used a bin to top it up from the shower - not a real problem. The building is old and showing signs of neglect with a very old wobbly decking in the courtyard and a very smelly pond in the middle - although we managed to get a seat downwind so not to bad - around the farm are some animals ie goats roaming free along with a dead chicken and a donkey desperately in need of its hoofs clipping that horrified my horse loving daughter. Such a lovely place but in serious decline unfortunately..

Way below what we expected.

The WiFi worked well, the host was friendly, the bedding was clean, the room was clean

The property had a very run down feel to it, from the flaking paint, peeling wallpaper, switches that didn't work properly or extractor fans that never turned on There was mould in the shower cubicle and the hose too the shower head was held on by tape, there was no ug in the sink and damp in the shower room. Some of the doors didn't close properly and the furniture and bebs had seen better days. Water had been left in the coffee machine for who knows how long. We stated we would be travelling with our gsd dog but we're placed in a room up a very steep flight of stairs meaning I had to carry him up and down. An old used mattress was left in the entrance area to the rooms and outside glasses were left on tables, ashtrays overflowing, broken furniture left, grass not cut it all was shabby. The bar wasn't open and there wasn't a TV in the room. To finish off our stay we were woken by ants in the room and on the beds. We wouldn't stay again. At one point this would of been a nice place to stay but not now, it needs heavy investment and a refurbish. Think city center hostel standard at best.

This was the perfect stop over, we wished we could have stayed longer so we could have had a meal at the gorgeous restau

The staff were lovely, there was a trampoline and a climbing frame with swings for the kids, the room had everything we needed! It was just the sweetest little place!!!

The shower was hot and powerful but it could do with a little TLC. We’re also glad we took our blackout blind as the curtain was quite thin (and our kids are light sleepers).

Stunning relaxing perfect. Real value for money..

The owner Fred was a very friendly and very helpful.. the room was great with lovely views.. Comfy bed, plenty of room. Lovely food and bar.

Love the farm.. Horses donkey Shetland pony and a sheep. Stunning views and loads of games to play.. Bocci, ping pong, blow up castle and a trampoline . There is a little lake and night lights. Just lovely.

It’s nice wee place for simple overnight! Owner was very nice and let us in at 10pm! all what we needed was there! the best was donkey who met us straight ahead!

stair was quite scary, very wee steps for that hight, so needed a wee extra care with that especially with wee ones!

super value for money, extra friendly staff, a great place for a group of friends

Super value for money ! we stayed with a large group, all we needed was a place to shower and sleep after a long bike ride and it was just that. We also enjoyed the restaurant with local food for a bargain. Nothing fancy, simply enjoyable and home cooked. The staff was extra friendly. definitely recommend

Nuitée atypique dans une chambre vieillissante

Établissement proche du domaine les marronniers. Literie assez confortable pour 6 couchages Nous disposions d'un frigo et d'une senseo avec dosettes ainsi que d un micro-ondes

Chambre dans son jus, une rénovation est nécessaire, il y a des coup sur les murs, le toilette est cassé, l abattant est beaucoup trop par rapport à la cuvette. La douche est à changé, le mitigeur ne se regle pas, la température de l eau est excessivement chaude, des carrelages sont cassés. Le matelas du lit double fait beaucoup de bruit , la télé ne fonctionne pas, elle s allume mais n avons pas les chaînes.

Très authentique! Impression de dormir à la ferme ! Bonne literie ! Le patron est charmant et serviable ! Très bon accueil ! Les chévres sont très attachantes même si il faut les pousser un peu pour aller garer la voiture !!! :-)

Difficulté d'accés, surtout la nuit, la route est très étroite ! Le mobilier des chambres un peu vétuste ! L'escalier en bois pour monter à la chambre est glissant surtout quand on a des bagages !
